Clint Eastwood Collection (Box Set) [DVD]

Clint Eastwood is a good Actor. I wanted to veiw him in something else other than westerns or cop shows. Well this DVD movie does just that. Enjoyed all 4of the movies. I purchased this Dvd in Feb.2026 and has seen it 3times since. The movies kept me entertained each time. The price fit my budget. I would definitely recommend this DVD, especially if you like Clint Eastwood.

I bought it for "Space Cowboys," and got a whole lot more than I bargained for. I'm enjoying these movies once again.

As a big fan of Clint Eastwood, I really enjoy this 4 pack. Not his best movies but all done with passion. The two with Clyde the orangutan are cute, funny films! I like the way Eastwood doesn't stick to one kind of movie. He's not scared to branch out and take a chance!

It's hard to the Clint Eastwood and these are some of his best movies. I would not say that these are his absolute best movies, but they're certainly excellent

EASTWOOD IS THEE MAN!

We picked up this DVD because we remember the “monkey movies” when we were kids. It was quite a trend in movies and TV in the late 70's and early 80's. Practically every show had an episode with a chimp, monkey, or orangutan. We're still waiting for BJ And The Bear on DVD. Meanwhile, we'll watch Clint and Clyde. Unfortunately, the movies don't hold up to childhood memories. What we remember are good songs and a funny ape. Yes, the title songs “Every Which Way But Loose” and “Any Which Way You Can” are still good. The other country music playing is good, too. But even though this set is billed as comedies, we didn't see anything funny about them. Clyde did not have nearly the antics we remember. All we saw was Clint violently beating up other guys for no apparent reason. We don't remember that at all. Clyde was merely window dressing in the background. He may have appeared in the scene, but he didn't do anything cute or comical. Unless you consider sharing a beer comical. He didn't really participate in the plot. Usually the sidekick helps foil the bad guys. That may have been funny, to have an orangutan beat up the spoof of a biker gang and save Clint. But the only person Clyde beat up was Clint, at the beginning of the movie. It was presented as though that was unexpected, so we thought that that was how Clint met Clyde in the first place, only to find out that they already knew each other. So why was that scene necessary? The only character with humorous lines was the old woman. Whose Ma was she again? And how was she even a part of the plot? Overall, the movies are not the way we remembered them at all. Chalk up another one to memories best left alone. The other two movies, we don't know at all. Because they're supposed comedies, we'll look at them and hope for the best. Then we'll decide if this set is worth keeping in the classic movie collection (or upgrading the rating). Four titles for one low price may be a good deal, but more violence than comedy is not really a classic in our book.

I actually like this movie. But the quality of the dvd is absolute garbage. It freezes up and will not play. It's not my player, it works fine with hundreds of other DVDs and Blu-ray discs. I will not buy any more from this seller. Junk.
