No more accidental spills.

BrakinforBelvita October 12, 2015

I'm sure there's a lot of you out there that regardless of how careful you are, still end up with a few bleach spots on your clothes. These Clorox bleach packs won't do that, they will not release any chlorine until they dissolve in water. These Clorox bleach packs contain ingredients that are less corrosive to plastics and rubber and will not corrode stainless steel, unlike their liquid counterparts. Make sure your hands are dry before handling and that you reseal the container, especially if you live where there's high humidity. You can put these packs in your HE washing machine or your standard machine and then throw your bleachable fabrics in and your clothes will be just fine, even if you have to set the timer to start in 6 hours. In the HE machines you're supposed to add the packs directly to the drums and not the dispenser trays. One problem I have, is, my washing machine is a front loader and the directions say, for best results add them to the drum 5 minutes after the start of the wash cycle. I have better things to do then wait around to do that, besides once the door goes into lock mode it's a pain trying to open it in the middle of a cycle. So I add them first, before the clothes and so far I'm happy, except for the price. The liquid bleach cost about $4.00 for 15 loads where the packs are $4.00 for 12 loads, so is the convenience worth it?

CLOROX DOES A GREAT JOB!

HKGCITYGIRL October 14, 2015

I couldn't pass up the chance to try Clorox's Solid Bleach Packs and what better way to see if they work than to conduct a couple of tests at home. Test #1 - Laundry. I decided to try one pack on our whites - some washcloths and bath towels - by running them through a normal wash and rinse cycle. Followed directions for a small load. Filled up our washer with hot water and added our regular laundry detergent. Instructions said to wait 5 minutes after starting the machine before putting in a single bleach pack. From the washer into the dryer and when the towels came out, they were soft and fluffy and the whites were back to being white again - photo included! Test #2 - The Toilet. Not to be indelicate, but I wanted to see if the bleach pack would dissolve and work it's magic here as well. Flushed once, then as the water was filling up the bowl, dropped a pack in and used the brush to stir. It began to dissolve right away. I swished the Clorox around the bowl and scrubbed under the rim. I then let it "sit" (about 15 minutes) and flushed again. Perfect. Another success to report! The results are in. The Clorox Solid Bleach Packs are a keeper. No need to measure, water-activated, no splashing liquid and, best of all, they are very convenient to use. They have my seal of approval!!

Pre-measured Pack Puts The "Wow" In Cleaning

reviewsucanuse October 13, 2015

The Clorox Control Regular Scent Water-Activated Solid Bleach Packs put the "wow" into cleaning. They are easy to use, particularly if you follow the directions on the back of the container (which all users should be sure to do). The packs clean a wide range of items in the house (sinks, toilets, floors, and laundry). I used the packs in my toilet and sink. Unfortunately, I initially put the pack in the toilet and flushed right away (directions, again, should be followed). What I should have done is placed the pack in the full water of the toilet and let the pack dissolve (as it is made to dissolve in water). As the pack dissolves, little bubbles are released into the water. For the sink, I followed directions and put the pack in a full sink of water. When it was dissolved, I wiped the sink. It was sparkling. The bleach packs allow a contained, measured amount of bleach to be used rather than spraying cleaner on toilets and sinks which could get on clothes or measuring out bleach while doing laundry which could get on clothes as well. The ease of use is a "wow" factor. They are currently priced at $3.96 at Walmart.

Quick and Easy!

tigger1219 October 14, 2015

Let me start by saying these are great for more than just washing your white clothes. Not only are they great because there is no heavy bottle to pour, but also, no splashing to cause unwanted bleach stains. I found that the new high efficiency washers tend to get an odor that builds up over time. I put one of these Clorox packs in the washer and ran it on warm and the odor was gone. I also found that my dishwasher does the same thing. After about a month the dishwasher produces that same odor, so I thought that I would try the same thing. I ran it though the dishwasher and it worked great! Clorox has been around for many years and has always been my favorite. The container is small and has a great child proof lid, so feel assured that the kids will not be getting into this container. The Clorox packs still do a great job of keeping my whites at their best and the new small packs make it easier than ever to get the job done with less of a mess. I would absolutely recommend this product to any member of my family.

Makes household chores easier!

Sceater October 3, 2015

The Clorox Water activated bleach packs come in a handy round hard plastic container, and there is a safety feature when opening it, – I had to read the instructions on the top, as it is a tad different than most, but it was not a problem once reviewing the simple instructions. The Clorox packs remind me of the dishwasher tabs, only a bit larger. I put them in my whites in the wash and only had whites in the washer, not mixed whites as I was worried that it could discolor off whites. I could smell the bleach once it dissolved and my clothes were stain free and as white as if I used liquid bleach. I have to say, it is pretty convenient to just drop one of these packs in vs measuring the liquid bleach. I also tried it in my toilet bowl. I just dropped it in and it dissolved fairly quickly. Once dissolved, I used the toilet brush to clean the inside of the bowl. It did a fantastic job and was I was impressed with how much time I saved just by using one of these packs! I would recommend the Clorox water activated bleach packs – for those with busy lives, it is one more quality way to save some and hassle when doing your household chores. I plan to keep them on hand for those busy days!

Clorox Bleach Packs

BellaDona777 October 13, 2015

Clorox Bleach Packs come in a convenient 8.9 oz. 12 pack container. I really liked this product because it did what it says it was going to do. I used the bleach packs by first making sure my hands were dry before touching the packs, letting my washer fill up a little with water then throwing one in, and letting it dissolve. I followed it up with my detergent just like I would do my normal wash, as if I was using liquid bleach. I was very surprised because my whites came out just as clean. This little pack is powerful. I also used the bleach pack in my toilets for disinfection purposes, and it worked great. I really like the convenience of it being in a small container. I think this is especially important for folks who frequent the laundromat because it's easy to carry with you instead of a huge bottle of liquid. I highly recommend the Clorox Bleach Packs.

bleach packs

nike1955 October 1, 2015

I received these Clorox bleach packs from walmart Spark review to give my own personal review on them. I just love them because you can just toss them into your washer and you don,t have to worry about spilling that messy bleach from the bottle all over yourself , clothes, carpet or anything else that can be destroyed with it. They are 12 packs in a bottle. They are regular scent but I am hoping they either have other scents or will be coming out with them soon. Besides doing Laundry with them you can put one in the toilet to clean , stir to dissolve and rinse after soaking. Can also be used in a bucket for bleach water, moping or wiping things down. I just think these are fantastic and would highly recommend to anyone!

Not bad, but liquid is way better!

ksjch September 29, 2015

So these new Clorox pacs come in a jar which includes 12 packs of water activated bleach and do have a regular scent to them. So what I really like about this product is the comfortable and easy to use jar, which is also safe to use around children, as you actually have to press the sides and then twist off the cap, also I love the fact that it is already prepacked and premeasured product for the ease and convenience of the consumers, the only thing you actually have to do is just drop couple of packs into your washer drum and let them do a magic to your whites. It states on the package that it is only required to use one or two of the packs per one load, but I like for my whites to have a smell of bleach, plus the more you add the better the whites will come out, so I actually dropped 5 of the packs into the washer, but of course its up to you how many you would like to use. So the reason why I did not give this product 5 star rating is because even though it is already prepacked and very easy to use, takes less storage space than the regular 1 gal jug of bleach, I actually would rather have this product to come in liquid packs. In order for these pacs to get fully water activated and absorbed you MUST use hot water only! Otherwise you are going to find some of the powder left on the walls and the bottom of the drum of your washing machine. Now, I know whites have got to be washed in hot water in order to really make them arctic white and extra clean, but sometimes you have to use cold water, and that is where this product is going to disappoint you. I live in apartment building with a laundry room where you can only have cold water for the washing machine, but I also have a portable washer that I have to hook up every time I need to use it, so when I used my laundry facility my towels came out with some powdered bleach left over on them, as it didn't all the way get absorbed by water, so I had to take it all out and put the same load in my portable washer at home, where I could thankfully use hot water with this product and it worked absolutely amazing! So yes, it is pretty much the only thing that I do dislike about this product, I wish Clorox would make liquid pacs of this bleach, then it would be just absolutely amazing and just simply a space saver! And also it would be great if this product would come in a box of like 50 count, just like the laundry detergent pacs. Other than that it is a pretty good product, try it out for yourselves and see how you like it.

NOT A DISINFECTING BLEACH

Heather September 1, 2022

I don't use bleach often but when i do it's for disinfecting purposes. i do like to add a touch of bleach to my dish water etc especially if anyone in the house has been sick. i ran across these packs on sale and thought "why not? ". I noticed the container said nothing about killing any germs etc. I read a lot of reviews and everyone seemed to post about hating germs, loved the convenience, felt like everything was cleaner when using these little packs vs messy liquid bleach. i finally decided to look at the Clorox website and found out that these are not sold as a registered disinfectant but a deoderizer and stain remover. I just wanted to post a review mentioning this because i would've thought twice before purchasing had i known. Can Clorox® Zero Splash™ Bleach Packs™ disinfect? Clorox® Zero Splash™ Bleach Packs™ is not sold as a registered disinfectant. To disinfect, use EPA-registered Clorox® Regular-Bleach.
