I love this wire rack. It hangs perfectly, especially if you already have any "wire" type shelving or storage. I hung this basket right over the railing of my wire shelf in my laundry room. It took about 2 seconds! I can now put some of my laundry items in the basket instead of on top of the dryer. It can fit dryer sheets, the smaller bottles of fabric softener, or you could even put a bag in it as a place to hold the lint from your dryer while you're doing the laundry. Because it hangs from the shelf you don't need to lose any shelf space. I plan to get a couple of more to put odd things in. With children, you can never tell what you're going to pull out of the washer or dryer. If you need a little extra room in your home, this is perfect and does not require any hardware or directions, it just slides over existing shelving!

I currently do not have any wire shelves inside my home, but I do inside both the freezer and refrigerator of my camper trailer, so this basket is the perfect size to fit into both to store smaller items that need to be kept cold. My daughter loves freezer pops, yogurt tubes, and fruit flavored applesauce tubes, which are good snacks, but have to be stored in boxes in order to keep from going all over the place. However, boxes take up a lot of space, so it is much easier to grab what you will need for a camping trip, but then you either have them in a sloppy stack, store in a plastic bag, or try to keep them neat in the door shelving. Now they can be neatly stored in this basket and within perfect reach for my daughter to grab for herself. This wire basket comes in very handy for anyone needing to store smaller items and would be great for many uses inside a closet or pantry too.

This is a nice add-on piece, if it were bigger I would give it another star. It seems small to be large. I am able to fit up to about five vitamin-type bottles in it. It's meant to hang from a wire shelf, but if you have something with a really narrow top, you might be able to hang it from there too.

I love the little storage hanging basket but you need to have wire closet shelves to use it. The problem is that the hooks do not open so you have to try too hook it on to the wire rack until it connects. Not the best design if you want to hang it somewhere else. It does hold item ok.
