Clover Bamboo Crochet Hook Set with Cord Stoppers, (9 Piece)

This is a nice Tunisian hook set. Takes some getting used to since they're bamboo. Pretty light compared to traditional aluminum hooks. These are inline Tunisian hooks. So if you like Susan Bates hooks, you'd probably like these. For all the Boye hook fans out there, this is still a really good set. But they're not tapered like Boye, so it's kinda a 50/50. I prefer Boye hooks, but this Clover set was on sale for $57 so I took my chance. Since Tunisian hooks are held differently when working a piece, they really aren't that hard to adjust to using. So far, so good. Clover makes pretty decent hooks. If clover ever made a tapered set in the future I would definitely grab a set.

This set comes in such an aesthetically pleasing carrying case made from what feels like canvas cotton. The set itself is comprised of a variety of very smooth bamboo hooks, cords, and cord stoppers, all sized accordingly with the description. I had never crocheted with bamboo hooks before, so I will note that there is a difference in handling (and thus gauge) compared to metal hooks, but once I adjusted, they performed wonderfully. The hooks can be used very efficiently independent of the accessories.

First time using Tunisian crochet hooks. They are a bit slippery but I'm sure these are more beginner friendly than metal ones and also got a great deal

These hooks are very smooth with no drag. The loops swivel making it easy to work on large items with ease.

These crochet hooks are nice to look at, but not to be used. The hooks are mot easy to use. They are too expensive.
