Uses heavier guage wire
The wires are a little heavier guage than inexpensive threaders, and includes 2 sizes with large threading fields. The end of the wires are imbedded in the handle, so they won't accidentally poke fingers. The threader comes with nice snap on covers.

Wonderful purchase
I have tried the small tin ones that just break on the first attempt (this is probably why they are so cheap.) I bought a couple of fancy ones that I either couldn't figure how to work, or just didn't work at all. I am an embroiderer, and I have to re-thread needles constantly, this one works like a charm. I like it so much I plan on purchasing another 2 so I have one on my sewing desk and one in each of my sewing baskets. I thread DMC needles 5,6,7 & 20, and it works like a charm. My only advice is that you hold onto the metal threader and plastic base firmly to ensure that the mets

I have a hard time getting the point into the needle. I was thinking it would be great to have the wires were colored so it could be seen easier. Perhaps someone could tell the company or put it in a suggestion box.
