I have tried several items from the Food to Live Brand and all have been great products, including these clover seeds. They are packaged well, and the bag I purchased on 10-2025 has an expiration of 8-2029. My current use case is a bit different as I am using them as a cover crop to over winter in my raised garden beds. I may sprout some indoors to use as micro greens sometime this winter. I have no doubt they will do well. The germination time and rate on these are excellent. I had sprouts in as little as 3 days in one of my beds.
I'm just not enough rabbit to nibble on them by themselves as a snack item. Someone else might enjoy that. It does take time %26 attention to get them sprotted. I invested in the wire mesh mason jar toppers %26 had 3 different "flavors" going. Radish is strongly radish! (My son loves them, but his eyes watered! Strong!) This clover was mildest. Broccoli is okay. 1 Tablespoon seeds in a quart jar eventually sprouts out to fill the space. So this bag is going to make about 30 batches! I actually put mine under a grow light for 2 days at the end %26 gave them extra time to green up before I "harvested" them. The hard part is trying to hold onto the tiny plants as you rinse away the seed shells/ hulls. Once that is accomplished, I put them on a paper towel inside of a ziplock bag in the fridge. Store next to all the other "salad makings" %26 enjoy!
I have a 4 tray sprouting box and these are perfect for it! The seeds are a great producer and I enjoy these in my salads.
Love these sprouts, nutritious and delicious!
using in hydroponic tray and the seeds sprout well, grow fast and my chickens love them
Purchased for sprouting, haven't opened them yet. They arrived on time and in good condition.
High Sprouting yiels
I was skeptical at first, but clover is now one of my go to micro-greens. Great germination rate and adds another unique flavor to my micro-greens salad.
usually sprouting clover is always RED (CRIMSON) clover from my experience....don't see how that warrant's a complaint but you can't -ever- please everyone
The variety of clover should be specified because these conventional clovers are actually crimson and the organic available is called sweet or yellow clover
