Great buy!!

Taylormadegolfer5 July 6, 2014

Bought this to cure the itch of always wanting to go golfing!! Quick and easy to set up, works fantastic! Helped me sort out my swing issues without having to go to the range. Great product! I'd but another one if it broke!!

Awesome cheap price. Still standing after a rain storm.

Good for experienced players who hit it straight.

DT15 May 10, 2020

This net is good for the price. My concern is that it isn't tall enough. I stand pretty close and wouldn't feel comfortable hitting anything below an 8 iron at it. Also, if you are not good at golf, there is no side protection for lateral shots (shanks). It takes about 10 minutes to put up and getting the tension correct (so balls don't bounce back at you) takes some adjusting. Breaking it down for storage means a lot of pieces back in the box. I paid about $20. I have had other nets in the past that were better, but cost 5 times as much. If you want to take it up and down a lot, consider a pop-up one. Otherwise this does what you need.

Descent Product for the Price

Great May 13, 2020

This is a descent product for the price, and for my son to practice his golfing. My only complaint is that the middle (colored) target only secures at the top 2 corners, so if there is the least bit of wind outside, the target is flapping around on the net! Also, the target fabric on mine has orange, not yellow, and there is no black circle in the middle like the picture shows here....not a big deal, but it is different.

Golf Driving Net

DGold45 July 31, 2014

For the price, pretty good. Directions not so helpful but if your handy, you can figure it out. The only downside is that it's not that sturdy unless you also have a fence near by to secure the side ropes that attach to the tall polls. Don't even think about driving actual golf balls, only use rubber or plastic practice balls. For the price, it suffices.

Cheap but effective.

Jrledt June 14, 2014

It does a pretty good job stopping golf balls. The poles are cheap and it isn't quite as big as the box says but it works.

Good practice net in the price range

carrie May 19, 2021

The net seems ok, but the poles are flimsy and all of the tie downs needed makes it a little unsteady and like putting a tent up. Since it is a little short for driving golf balls I ended up not using the poles and using rope to hang it a few feet off of the ground between two trees. I'd rather send a bad hit rolling below the net that sailing over into the neighbor's yard. I'll probably buy another and hang them together to have a 14x20 area net. Not bad for the price.

Dangerous

Sam July 31, 2021

Used once and the last ball went through and into a neighbor's yard down the street. Walmart was kind and didn't argue about refunding it. I also bought a rotating ball on a string. It went into another neighbor's yard. Walmart has always been helpful and sympathetic with returns like this and treated us well. I won't blame them for a vendor's mistakes.
