I have used different product made by Clubman Pinaud. This one ranks with the reset of them. I was very much amazed how nicely it foams with my syn brush! It also smelled like the rest of its brand... amazing. It didn't fair so well with my boar brush though. STILL great buy and will be buying again. Do they sell this product with more oz?!

This product is great, it has that classic barber smell.

Like a little more than the shave cream since using warm water with a brush makes it much better then cold shave cream.

I've been wet shaving for about 10 years now. Ever since I discovered this stuff a few years ago it has been my go-to. Best all-around shaving soap out there.This is the kind of stuff you lather up with hot water and a brush. It is a dry soap so inside the container is like a puck or like a soft bar of soap. The trick is: get your brush really wet with the hottest water you can. Then rub the brush around in the can for about 30 seconds to build up a big lather.Smells great - has a nice clean smell similar to the classic Cluubman after shave albeit very light and mild. Great value for money too as it lasts a long time - a single can will last several months. And it still provides a nice smooth shave. No skin irritation whatsoever.How this compares: This soap is not as rich in lather as Taylor of Old Bond Street (which is more of a cream than a soap). However it is also less than half the price and lasts twice as long while still delivering a perfect shave. I've also used Williams Mug Soap - that stuff is terrible and this Clubman beats it by a mile. No comparison whatsoever. I also like the Clubman containers - they are small and compact and fit easily on a small shelf or in a medicine cabinet but are also easy to travel with.

Great lather built up on the brush gave a great cushion for the razor Overall this product gave a great shave. The only negative thing is that I felt the container is too small it was slightly difficult to get my brush in it and I lost some of the soap while applying to the brush as a result.

Package got lost non delivered. No problem getting money sent within 10 minutes.

If I had received the complete order I could have tried the soap but without the brush and bowl I couldn't use. It
