This is the first time they have had this and they have been actually eating it. I have extremely picky dragons and although they don't eat it all right now they still eat it.
I started feeding my 3 female beardies and two female Leopard geckos this about a month ago and they have ALL gone for it with absolute glee! What worked for me was letting it sit for a few mins with water to soften it. I offered it on the end of a small wooden spoon (disposable from Amazon) that wouldn't be harsh on their little teefers. I still feed the beardies fresh greens and live insects a couple of times a month but this is their staple protein now. The Leos still prefer to be spoon fed which I honestly don't mind since I can keep track of what they are eating a little better. For those of you that have family who are squeamish about feeding live bugs, this is a great alternative! Good luck and don't give up on this great complete diet!
Palatable to my dragons as a veggie topper. A necessary addition to feeding for a complete diet
My Leopard geckos actually loved it and I was pleasantly surprised. We have two young ones and they have only had crickets and meal worms so far so I wasnt sure but Ive checked it daily and theyve been slowly eating away at it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I was so excited when I received my #Mazuri #Voxbox in the mail. Mazuri is a known name in the animal/pet world so I was very excited to give my girl the Mazuri Bearded Dragon Diet. She is on a diet that consists mostly of fresh vegetables and bugs so she nibbled on these. I think I will give this to her as s treat since they are very small and not a meal size. We have a house full of different reptiles so I will give some to our other smaller babies !!!! Thank you #influenster for the #Mazuri #Voxbox We Loved it [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
this food seems nice in concept however my Beardie is used to eating greens and meal worms now that she is full grown adult. so she didn't seem interested in this food. I tried adding this in addition to her regular plate and she didn't seem interested. may only be good as a backup when I cant get worms as quickly as I'd like. I really liked this food for our beardie bc it didnt use any artificial dyes. Our beardie is used for a veggie blend diet, ones with dried vegetables in it but he took to Mazuri very well. The pellets are small so it seemed like he ate the whole serving in one chomp but he liked it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I own several crested geckos and a Tokay gecko and when I received this product I was excited to give my geckos new food. My geckos are used to eating pangea so I loved the concept of just soaking the dry food in water as opposed to mixing a powder with water (powder gets everywhere). My cresties did not seem to like the food but my Tokay loved it. She finished the portion I fed her. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Take this with a grain of salt as I was feeding it to frilled dragons. I tried both this and the insectivore diet and i didn't have much luck with it. I'm sure health wise it would have worked out fantastically I just couldn't get them to eat it regularly.
I have a pet leopard gecko so I was nervous giving him this food when its based more towards bearded dragons (even though a leopard gecko is featured on the packaging). My guy is quite picky but I like to put food like this and his calcium supplement in a food bowl for variety if he gets bored with his live crickets and mealworms. He hates other leopard gecko specific dry food so I was pleasantly surprised that he was actually interested in this! Though he will always choose live food over anything.
