Everything they say about this is true. I simply measured the gap between the slabs and ordered accordingly. It really does install/remove that easy and looks fantastic! A much quicker process than using the other methods.

After doing some research on solutions to deterioration of concrete expansion joint wood, I chose this product in part because the sizing has a tolerance of plus or minus 1/8 inch. I'm glad I did as my expansion joints width varied by at least that much, even within a single joint. Kinda pricey, but worth it. Trim-A-Slab has good videos for tips on the old wood removal. Installs nicely with a mallet. Tried several methods of cutting and settled for tin snips as suggested on the web site. Definitely get the sample kit for 4.95 through the web site before ordering. They send all sizes and colors. It saves a lot of tedious measuring and guess work. Looks great when finished and no more debris or weeds.

I have been looking for something like this for a while. After finding it I had it in the basket for a few months but finally pulled the trigger. This worked great and looks great. I pulled up the wood in the joint and then placed the Trim-A-Slab material down. Hardest part was pulling up the wood. I laid down a 100ft of the Joint Material in 20 minuets.
