This is a nice sized St Benedict crucifix necklace pendant. Nice details. Good definition of Jesus figure. St. Benedict letters also clearly marked. I've worn it now for about a month and it has not tarnished as some silver products do. Only "drawback" is the stainless steel chain which I don't use.
The medal is stamped S925 which means that the item is 92.5% silver. This qualifies as real pure sterling silver. As long as it's accurately stamped. I believe that it is genuine sterling silver since it hasn't tarnished like stainless steel and other medals do for me. My skin is allergic to foreign metals (including nickel) and I've had no skin reactions whatsoever. So, I'm assuming the pendant/medal is real sterling silver. If it wasn't, my skin would have developed a rash and the pendant would have started to tarnish from the oils in my skin. As mentioned, the chain is stainless steel, but the manufacturer clearly states that in their product description. I use an alternate silver chain.
