Solid light

Rnnoo June 9, 2025

Good light for the price. Multiple light settings. The button on the back of the light makes it easy to activate and use one handed. Lightweight yet durable.

Great product, great customer service!

Troy March 22, 2021

Great product! I carry my PX1 every day in my job as a plant operator and can't even guess how many times a day it gets pulled out of my pocket. It's wonderful for reading gauges in some places where you wouldn't be able to read them without a light. It's tough also. It gets dropped, greasy, wet, hot, cold, etc., and is really bright for a light that runs on three triple A batteries. It also, hands down, carries the absolute best warranty in the business! Customer service? Also the best ever. Thank you all soo much!

Great product; REMARKABLE SERVICE!

Bruce Dell January 29, 2024

My Coast light served me faithfully through my LEO years and well into other endeavors but, like a dummy, I left the batteries in entirely too long and, yes, I inadvertently rendered this great light inoperable. A call to the very capable customer service team to located parts led to knowledge that the model was no longer available, nor were parts. A helpful rep offered to replace it with a comparable model and I had a new Coast light within just a few weeks. Every once in a great while, you find a retailer who stands behind their product with professionals out front. Bravo Team Coast; I'm a customer for life!

Awesome, reliable flashlight for First Responders

Security Manager October 16, 2021

This flashlight is compact and super bright (500 Lumen Model)! I work Graveyard shift doing Security and this is the perfect tool to light up the dark. It has come in handy several times inside dark stairwells, parking garages and mechanical closets. It also assists with clearing cars that have dark tint. I recommend this flashlight to anyone in Security/Law Enforcement/First Response. It's tough and long lasting, exactly what you need to get the job done.

Outstanding customer service

Shine On October 19, 2022

My Coast light of several years abruptly quit working, I cleaned the contact points, changed batteries with no successes. Reported it to Coast and they quickly provided a replacement. I'm glad I decided to test their warranty because I had no paperwork since it was several years old and almost tossed it.

An outstanding, compact performer

Dennis in Vieques February 3, 2022

I am very pleased with my PX1 flashlight. It was received in satisfaction of a warranty claim, where a rubber switch cover had fallen off. I live in Puerto Rico, and had purchased seven of these flashlights following Hurricane Maria. I retained four of the for my two homes, and gifted the remaining three to US Coast Guard here, and one to our Emergency Management Director. They love these flashlights, and like me, appreciate their performance and ruggedness. I will be purchasing more in the future.

Looking forward to a Stealth-Recon Flashlight!

Ancient Path January 15, 2023

It is a bright flashlight that is easy to carry in your pants or coat pocket, and the batteries last reasonably long. However, I need a flashlight where the batteries that can last 24 hours at low power, when I stumble around at home or in the garage, on a a night-hike late at night, and I don't want to ruin my night vision with a really bright light, and can't be changing batteries in the middle of the night. This PX-1 flashlight has three modes: 1-Click is Medium power, 2-Clicks is High power, and 3-Clicks is Low power. This order is Confusing ! This means I have to click 3 times to get into Low power, which is the opposite of how I wish this light was set up; it would be nice if 1-click turned on Low-power, 2-Clicks was Medium power, and 3-clicks was High Power. This would be good for a Stealth flashlight, a Recon flashlight, a Night Hiker flashlight, a Flight Cockpit flashlight, and a Map-Reader Flashlight, and possible for an Astro-Photographer's Flashlight, all of which require low light at first click. It is true that Police, Fire, Search-and-Rescue and First-Responders will want a flashlight that is High power on 1-click, but that is a different Mission, a different purpose, and a different customer. So, there should be two types of pocket flashlights: A Stealth-Recon Flashlight (SR-1) that starts out on Low-power, with a 4-times increase in power with each of 3 or 4 or 5 clicks, . . . and a First-Responder Flashlight (FR-1) that starts out at high-power, and then gets 4-times dimmer with each click. I am looking forwarding to ordering a few of your new, hopefully soon to be released "Stealth-Recon Flashlights" (SR-1) that will provide light for 24 hours continuously on Low-power. Thank you! So, now please get to work on creating a Stealth-Recon Flashlight (SR-1) that starts out with 1-Click giving very low light and long life, and with a 4-times increase in power on each click, with four (4) clicks or modes. You might study a "ThruNite LED Flashlight Archer 2A V3 " flashlight to see how a low-light, long-burning flashlight might be made.

Recommend!

Andrew January 26, 2022

I've only had the PX1 for a short time, but I bought it to replace a similar sized Coast flashlight which I lost in the field a few months ago. I am a volunteer firefighter so I need to keep a reliable flashlight with me all the time. The PX1 fits very nicely in the tool pocket of my pants, it carries easily, the clip is quite strong, and so far has been utterly reliable. It is sturdy and provides great light. So far I'm very happy with it.

Not Ready for EDC

That One Guy January 9, 2020

Average output package. When focused to 'beam' it still has a halo that produces heavy flashback, unusable in many situations such as from a vehicle window or on a porch/deck. Twist function for beam stays in place when clipped in your pocket, thats good, but it exposes about a 1/4" of the frame that when twisted back down one finds it harbors dust and debris from edc.

Bring back the px25!

Aaron October 24, 2022

I recently got the px1 after my px25 stopped working, I learned the px25 is discontinued and am very disappointed to hear. The px1 has adjustable beam and a high low setting, it gets very annoying having to double click the button and no where near the beam distance as it's predecessor. It's bigger than the px25 has too much going on. I prefer my lights to turn on and off when needed. Not a Swiss army style apparatus.
