The scent is fresh and clean. This soap does not leave a residue and is gentle to the skin. I use the soap in the shower and there is no slippery residual .

Great soap!
I've been using this soap for years. I love the way it smells and I love the way it makes my body feel. my body does not feel dry nor does it feel oily. over the years from time to time I would buy a bar or two of a different soap but always went back to this. love it!

shipping package was worthless
The issues was the packaging. It was a taped up bag that had ripped open. half the boxes were open, but they were all there. With the condition of some, I am throwing them away

Something's changed...and not for the good.
I've been using Coast Deodorant soap for decades. Something's different about this purchase. The packaging has changed but it says it's the classic scent. Problem is, the scent is less than 1/2 as strong as it used to be. I'm going to do some more research. Maybe it's an imposter.

Bought from Walmart received from Amazon
I purchased this from Walmart, at least I thought I did but it was delivered to my home from Amazon??? There was a sales receipt in the package for 16.00, I paid 24.00 for it from Walmart??? Then I figured it out that this was sold by another thru Walmart and they must have Amazon Prime because when I ordered it had free shipping... I blame myself for not looking on Amazon for this soap but believe me the next time I want to buy anything from Walmart I will check out Amazon first..I have Amazon Prime and would have bought this with free shipping...
