Great value for everyday use. Purchased for color and to sew a loose and a missing button on a shawl. Will be returning for other colors. This camel color has a bit of a sheen to it. Did not seem to tangle easily. I use Walmarts self threading needles as my eye sight is not the best.
Did not originally see this all purpose thread on my search. Though it said the item was available, turned out it wasn't, but the substitution, though a bit more expensive, was actually a better quality thread and still worked with the sewing machine.
Coats and Clark All Purpose Thread is a great value and always sews up perfectly. Sure, there's better thread out there but at 3 times the cost. This thread if perfectly appropriate for crafts a home sewing projects. It's the brand my mother used and my preferred brand. I've been sewing for 70 years.
This is a very pretty pale pink, that matches my pale shell pink dupioni silk drapes that puddle on the floor. I also have some other pale pink that this is really nice thread for sewing. It was great to be able to have it shipped with my order, and not have to pick it up or pay for delivery.
Looking at the color, I thought this is not really dark enough, but it really blends with the denim once it's looking at the color, I thought this is not really dark enough, but it really blends with the denim once it's on the fabric s sewn on the fabric . It is denim color,
The thread's color is so cute, it looks great perfect for blue clothings any blue fabrics how about all of them it stands out like a fashionable diamond mark
As I previously stated I order from Walmart because they usually have everything I need in stock at a great price. And so far all the customer service staff have been great.
The spool of threads comes with the beginning tail tucked into a tiny slot cut in the plastic on the spool. That in itself should not be a problem. I've used oodles of spools of thread with that feature. The problem is that it was impossible to pull the thread tail out of the slot. This is the first time this has happened to me. I unsuccessfully tried to pry the slot open a little wider. A friend attempted the same thing, but ended up having to cut the slot entirely off. When doing so, the thread was accidentally cut in the spool causing some of the thread to come off in small pieces. And, now the slot is missing so I can't tuck the thread tail back into it in order to prevent the thread from falling off the spool in storage. I'm not a happy camper!
The end of the thread was very difficult to pull out to start using the spool, even tho the slit it was in under the edge of the top label was showing the tip. The thread matched my sewing project perfectly, being a cold/washed denim shade of blue. The thread seemed thinner than other brands. It did not break during hand sewing.
I ordered 3 six-spool sets of thread, a total of 18 spools. They were available! However, I received 4 separate deliveries of 1, 1, 2 and 1 spools on the first day - it took about a week to get all 18 spools. I was just disappointed that I wasn't told how many car trips it would take; I would have opted to have it shipped to my nearest store where I could pick it up, saving time and gas! But the thread itself was great.
