This thread Is kinda expensive I thought but It's great quality. It's real thick and strong thread. I used It to sew the middle of a pair of brand new khaki pants. I took the pants to 2 places In our town that does repairs on clothing. They both said, “ They could not sew the pants unless you used a patch”! That's the one thing I didn't want to do was use a patch! So, I left with my pants In hand without letting them patch the new pants. So, needles to say, I'm kinda a new sewer but I've started getting Into sewing here lately and learning new techniques. I was like, I know I can sew these back where u will not tell. Where the pants stretch, It wasn't a hole but when you put the pants on you could tell they was going to be a hole If didn't repair. So I ordered this thread. It did take It a little longer than expected with shipping but It wasn't a big Issue. I got the thread I sew about a 10-12 Inch spot In between the middle of the legs and you couldn't even tell. I've worn the crap out of the pants, they are one of my favorites, esp my go to pants to wear. It's the end of Dec 2025 right now, guess what? The thread Is still held up! What's so funny Is BOTH repair stores said, “ You couldn't sew the pants with just thread that you needed a patch. If they couldn't use a patch they wouldn't be able to repair the pants” 🤣 Well guess what I proved them wrong because I REFUSED to use a patch on the NEW pants. They still had the tags on them but I got them out of town when I was on vacay so I didn't see the damage In the pants until I was already home. I do see a few places I might need to sew again but other than that the thread has held up amazingly because when I say, “ I have worn these pants to death, I've gotten my wear out of them and I'm going to keep wearing them too”! I think considering of what BOTH repair stores said, I think to be a beginner sewer, In my opinion, I think I sewed the pants great. I do want to say, I didn't take a picture of when I first sewed them. I'm just now seeing I need to fix 1-2 spots but other than that the thread has held up fantastic considering I've worn these pants tremendously! I'm really shocked this thread has held up considering what both repair stores saying, “ they would not repair these pants unless they used a patch on these pants to repair them”!
I use this thred at my eyebrow threading place and all my employees like it very much. Walmart does not let me order a bulk at a time so I have to order 15pc on each order. If Walmart allows me to buy a lot I will buy 1000 pc at a time. This thread is pretty nice.
Perfect color for my project even though it was bought on line. I was worried that there might be some distortion due to the manner in which it was purchased.
It works great for quilting
The thread is hit and miss. sometimes it works great and other times its like a rats nest. it's okay in a pinch or if you're sewing something that's not important for anything important, I'd spend a little more and get a better quality thread.
I hand quilt Walmart the only store left that carry's hand quilting thread
I did not get the thread that I ordered. Your notes show it was delivered, but it was not. I see that the handkerchiefs I ordered will be delivered tomorrow. No mention of the men's white ankle socks that I ordered.
I bought 3 spools of this for a special project. This thread just kept breaking and breaking. So I was very, very disappointed. I wonder if it had been in the stock to long or what.
