COBB COBB Flex Fuel Kit partNumber: 325650

Bolted super easy. Took me 15 minutes with a buddy. Highly recommend. Now pushing 430whp.

HP increased from 356 to 422 with this flex fuel kit (and some E85 of course). I am at high altitude so would expect more gain at sea level. Other mods are cobb20g, big sf, downpipe, Grimmspeed tmic, and of course injectors and fuel pump. Got it pro tuned so cannot comment on ots map. My mechanic said install was a bit more complicated than the old flex fuel, but still not difficult. He needed an adapter to connect to fuel line since I don't have covb fuel lines or fuel rail. Ethanol content and fuel pressure update in real-time in the access port. Very happy with the performance. Car runs so much better on e85.

Overall, this is a great kit. It is an easy way to make an additional 50HP when paired with a pump, injectors, and FPR. One thing that isn't mentioned in the instructions is there could be an issue with the ground wire where the ethanol content sensor is mounted. It seems that the ground only works from the factory if the wire is making contact with the bolt head and it loses contact with the body when you sandwich the ethanol content sensor in there. Make sure to sand down the paint where that ground wire contacts the body or it will throw an air pump CEL and you'll be pulling your hair out trying to figure out why. Subaru completely paints over the area where that wire contacts the body and relies on the bolt head for grounding. Other than trying to chase down that CEL for a couple days, it was a very smooth install and the kit works flawlessly after a good tune. The car is so much happier on ethanol and made 350whp on a very basic setup (intake, catback, EBCS, E85).
