works like a charm, and friendlier for the environment
For months, every time I ran my dishwasher water would pour out of the air gap next to the faucet. I tried to find anything in my house that was long, thin, and flexible to stick down that tube in hopes of dislodging whatever might be in there. Nothing ever worked. I bought this tool this morning and was amazed (and thoroughly disgusted!) by all of the packed debris that I was able to pull out! I cant speak for other uses, but if you have an air gap issue, I cannot imagine anything that would work better!
This is just what I needed to clean the foul smell from my shower P-Trap. Tried everything, then found this. Poured some Soft Scrub and bleach in the trap and let sit for an hour. Ran this "snake" down into the whole trap and lightly brushed the entire P-Trap. Did that for several minutes and the smell was gone. Bristles don't look like much but they don't have to be if you prep the trap with bleach and cleaner. I'm buying another one next time I'm at Walmart.
Excellent, re-usable drain snake.
Worked great for clearing the condensation drain line for my AC unit in the attic.
Treat it gently This thing is useful but you have to go easy on it. I broke it the first use.
While using it it began to break under the brush. Didn't cost much but also didn't do the trick.
bent too easily while in the drain. not Ben worth the cheap price of 6 bucks. don't waste your money.
