Cobra SC 200 1600P Dash Cam: 2" Screen, Live Alerts, Apple CarPlay® & Android Auto® Compatible Dash Camera (New)

I have used this camera setup for several years (Originally purchased at Costco) and have saved over $3000 on insurance deduction since I was able to prove that I was not at fault in two crashes. In another incident a crash was observed when a truck and a car were involved. The car was the culprit but had two people in it while the truck driver was on his own. The truck driver was sure he would be blamed but the recording was very clear that the car was at fault. The new camera is for my wife's car.

I love it, but am still fiddling with the Features.

Needs a suction cup mount option, otherwise a great camera.

The lock clip feature acts like it's saving the clip but it's no where to be found except in the bulk file system. Powers off randomly while recording. But I do like the 256 gig storage capability. I drive truck over the road so it stores a lot of clips before over writing.

Serves its basic function, but just like all the other reviews say, the app is complete and utter junk. Won't connect to the device despite both my phone and camera saying they're connected to each other, so manual card reading is the only option for viewing footage. Picture and voice commands work well though, and the install process was fairly quick and painless. If you want a dash cam to just sit there and record video with 0 extra features, this one works great. If you want something to do what it actually is advertising, keep looking.

Hard to disconnect camera from window mount. Difficult to program.

The dash cam itself takes great videos, when it decides to record. It does not turn on automatically, it turns off while going down the road, when you review the footage, its only about 30 minutes worth. The GPS feature does not stamp on the video. I have contacted customer support twice now, and 1 of them was over a week ago and they have not responded.
