Love this radio so far I haven't used it too much but with the detachable antenna you know it's pretty eh good quality for the price point just a novice in the craft so don't mock the beginner setup please

I have been able to use this radio over a few weekends, works really well. The NOAA weather alerts have been awesome to have. My only concern is the face screen seems to be easy to scuff. I might try to find some form of a screen protector. The farthest reach we've needed to have so far was about two miles, on a lake, and it worked as expected. I would buy these again.

Very nice product, VERY well constructed, price was generous for what you received, works very well on flat terrain with no obstructions but is limited in hilly terrain. Overall, great product, Cobra is a very solid brand with a track record of superior customer support.

I love the 450. It's exactly what I needed.

The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because it really doesn't perform fully like the description says. However, I was hoping to at least keep me in touch with my hunting group at a mile, or two, and it did under not so perfect conditions. I didn't have the same experience with other brands, even more expensive. Another negative is the battery, in terms of its type; no option to use those AAs, like with my 24 years old Cobra radios, which still work flawlessly to this day up to half a mile. Aside from that, battery life is acceptable (but definitely not like the Eneloops), it got me through a 4 days turkey hunt, few hours AM, and few hours PMs, on a single charge. And lastly, I'd recommend Cobra to include the dual charging dock, or at least an Y charging USB-C cable. It's nonsense to NOT have a way to recharge both radios simultaneously. Overall, I'm happy with the purchase, since there's nothing better (in my opinion) that money can buy for under $150 bucks.

These were purchased just in case I reside in an area of potential catastrophe, and Us may need to communicate some short distances.

Personally I found this item be rather disappointing because I personally found that it was due to its hard program of difficult to program and set up. That's something that unless you're extremely extremely technically minded and though all the ends and out for the common person I would never recommend this, but that's just my take on it.

Would have been more stars if they actually included a charging station for you so you can charge both units at the same time instead of just one charging cord so you can only charge one at a time

We can get reception for about 1/4 of a mile. That's it. We are returning them AND we have to pay for shipping, ridiculous.

Extremely disappointed in these radios. No range to speak of at all. If l can return them, l intend to. As a new product, l expected so much more!
