I got this as a gift for my 17 year old daughter who loves pink, the beach, and seashells. It fits around her waist since she is petite but would probably be better for a younger child. It is very cute though and she liked it.

The Sally the Dolphin kiddy float is a great purchase. I appreciate that it has a split design for easy entry and exit. Most other round floats don't have this feature. Sally the dolphin is a really cute floaty for kids. I tried this on my daughter and it was very easy to inflate. It held the air and was firm. It did not smell too much like plastic. I received this float and was excited to open it for my niece to use in their new pool. Granted, it's a bit too cold for the pool at this time, but we turned in the hot tub and popped her in it. She immediately latched onto it with a huge smile on her face. The material is stronger than the cheap flimsy plastic floaters you would buy at a souvenir shop at the beach. I feel this will be able to take a beating better than the usual kind. It was very easy to fill with air using just my lungs and no electric pump. It is a bit weird as it is hard to figure out what it is unless you see the picture on the box. I would have liked it to have some sort of art designs on the float or pictures. Just kind of a bland pink color. But for a kid, that doesn't seem to matter. Overall I do like it a lot and it appears to be made from high quality material. The 4 stars is just due to lack of any designs on the float itself. But, still a good value for the money. I received product reimbursement in exchange for my honest review.

Sally The Dolphin is super cute. It is definitely for smaller children. My kid had fun playing with it but the plastic isn't super heavy duty so I feel like it won't last more than a season or two.
