Food for my heart

Anonymous November 30, 2024

I am 82 years old and when they removed my thyroid which was extremely large, all of my parathyroids were also removed, thus it is overly important I keep my calcium around 9.7. If it drops around 7 I will go into a coma. This is a rare condition of which I am still learning and navagating. I recently switched over to Codeage. My old brand was excellent for the last 15 years and became reststant to absorbing the calcium. It happens slowly and I recognized it from prior experience. I stitched over to Codeage and started with the recommended dosage 2 capsules aday. The first couple of days I noticed a lessening in my energy. I tested my calcium level and it had dropped. I muscle tested my intake and doubled my capsules to 4 aday. My body requires 1000 mg daily to function and keep my heart beating. I am thrilled to find a calcium that is in capsules so I do not have to keep in the frig and take several times a day and that includes washing my measuring cup. I know that is a small thing, but most of all i love how I feel. I just spent 9 months in hospice care. I have renewed joy. Thank you Codeage

Excellent no-fail quality every time, great combo for me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent combo of calcium, magnesium, zinc, copper, boron, vitamin D3, and Vitamin K2, most of which I need for restless leg and gut issues. I am happy that there is no aftertaste, goes down easily, and also this is a 2 month supply. I always have great luck with this brand since it is so clean and well sourced. Its nice to not have aftertaste and burping up after you take these. I recommend and will buy again!

Good ingredients, but less comfortable to swallow than others.

CC98 March 13, 2024

I like the dosage of calcium and the inclusion of vitamin K and D and the trace minerals. I have been told and read it is best to keep supplement calcium to 500 mg or less per day to prevent cardiac vessel calcification, and the 250 mg per caplet is perfect for this. However, the caplets are a bit large, and I feel a bit nauseous after swallowing two caplets. Not a big deal as I simply take the two tablets in morning and evening, but I did not have this problem with other calcium supplements that had 303 mg/tablet. I wonder if it is because all the powder comes out and hits the stomach all at once, instead of dissolving slowly as in the other tablet or if it is because the other tablet was plant based and derived its calcium from algae.
