Just as described and fast shipping.
I returned this item because the lid doesn't lock in place and so when you are pouring the last bit of water it can fall off. Also, part of the handle got hot over my gas flame, even though I kept the flame smaller than the base of the tea kettle. I really did like everything else about the kettle, so I was disappointed that it didn't work out.
its a beautiful kettle and easy to be held. I've got weak hands and its eady to left.
