As someone who requires coffee before forming complete sentences, this Butterbeer flavored creamer is basically a legal potion. First of all, the consistency is spot on. Smooth, creamy, and blends seamlessly into hot coffee without any separation drama — no dark arts required. It swirls in beautifully and transforms an ordinary mug into something that feels like it was brewed at The Three Broomsticks. The flavor? Sweet, buttery, caramel-forward goodness that genuinely captures Butterbeer vibes without being overpowering. It works especially well paired with vanilla coffee — that combination is basically Gryffindor-level bravery in a cup. Warm, cozy, and just indulgent enough. Ease of use is top-tier. The bottle pours cleanly (important when you’re half-asleep and operating at “pre-Hogwarts letter” capacity), and because it’s liquid, it mixes instantly. No stirring marathon necessary. Bonus points for being non-dairy and gluten free — inclusive magic for everyone. Does it make me a wizard? No. Does it make my coffee taste like I might defeat a dark lord before noon? Absolutely. Five stars. Would absolutely keep this stocked in my cupboard of requirement.
Now as a Potter Head I been wanting to try this creamer for a while now. And I finally end up buying it. It says sugar free but does have a sweet ness to it. Has a nice creamy texture. i can't say if tastes like butter beer as never had it before. It wouldn't be my everyday creamer but for change of pace its nice.
This is so good. First I bought it because it was on sale. The "Butterbeer" name was a bit off-putting. I do get the HP lore, but I was scared it was going to have the essence of hops or something. 😝 It tastes like butterscotch and complements hot coffee well. I also mix it with concentrated espresso, ice and water. It's so yummy- my new favorite.
New Harry Potter creamer from Coffeemate gives my coffee a magical touch! It brings delicious Butterbeer flavor that pairs so well with my coffee while adding to it velvety and creamy texture. I enjoy its full rich flavor without extra calories and sugar!
I tried this on a whim as I figured it was butterscotch flavor and it didn't disappoint. It indeed is butterscotch flavor and is delicious. I will definitely buy again .
The ONLY reason I gave this two stars is because it truly tastes like butterbeer. You might think “oh, that’s exactly what I want” but no, it’s not. It tastes like cream soda. Legitimately has the taste of soda in it, and I don’t know how they did that but it was absolutely atrocious in my coffee. Maybe you could try it in a “dirty soda” with root beer or dr.pepper, but I absolutely do not recommend this for your coffee. Wayyyyy too sweet (and I love my coffee sweet) and just doesn’t taste good in coffee. It’s weird. I was expecting maybe a butterscotch flavor but only got cream soda. 2/10.
As soon as I saw this item on the Walmart app I immediately added 4 bottles to my online order because we have been to Universal Studios many times and loved the butterbeer served there. Upon trying it for the first time in my morning coffee, I was like “nope” this isn’t going to work. It has the slight taste of soda and chemicals that tasted awful in my coffee. Unfortunately, I won’t buy again and will be donating my bottles to the workplace kitchen, so the employees can have a go at it.
I was really excited for this creamer, I mean I LOVED The Cauldron Cake HP creamer but was bummer it wasn't in a zero sugar. This has a flavor, but it is not a creamy butterscotch flavor. It's just a "milk" flavor. It's not what I was expecting, and a true disappointment.
I wanted to like this, but it's a big no for me. I love butterscotch, and supposedly, this is what it's supposed to taste like. It's so sickening sweet and has an awful aftertaste. This sugar free option is just horrible. It tastes like a chemical. I had to cut it down to half milk and half this stuff, just to be able to use it, and even that was really sweet and didn't hide the aftertaste. To me, it didn't have any butterscotch flavor, more like a caramel. I won't be buying it again.
I don't know what makes coffee-mate think this is so great that they have to charge the same for this 28 oz bottle that they charge for the regular 32 oz flavors. this is pretty bland and is the worst one so far of every coffee mate I have tried.
