Coghlan's 2360 Plasma Lighter

It's charges with a USB cord, and although it has the appearance of a zippo lighter, it lights using a plasma function that resembles a little laser beam. The plasma function lights candle wicks much faster than a traditional flame lighter. The lighter itself is lightweight and would be really handy for camping or backpacking. When I received this lighter, my husband immediately commanderred it, so you know its good.

Also comes handy with a flashlight and a charger. I havent had to charge it yet even though ive been using it for a couple days.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Light weight! Easy to charge, battery lasts for a long while. The plasma is short made well for lighting paper product on fire. Takes a second depending on the thickness of product being burnt but burns hot.

The battery life is solid, it charges easily, and it lights paper quickly when getting a fire pit going. It feels well made and reliable. Overall, I'm very satisfied with it and would get it again.

I love the convenience of simply plugging it in to recharge - no more messy fluid or disposable plastics. ​It's great that there's no flame. It's safe, clean, and completely windproof. It's also versatile and I think it'll be perfect for lighting paper/kindling for campfires. As far as downsides, it's a little difficult to light deep-set candles because the arc element doesn't extend very far into the jar. I am also unsure of its water resistance and how it would perform in rain or heavy dew, which could be a concern for camping. Overall, I recommend this and am happy to have it as a tool.

The plasma arc lights instantly and works great in the wind, which is where regular lighters usually fail. I like that it's USB rechargeable so no fuel to worry about and the flip-top cap and auto shutoff make it easy to toss in a pack without thinking about it. It's not perfect for lighting larger pieces of wood or deep burners, but as a reliable, no-fuss lighter for outdoor trips or a backup in your kit, it does exactly what it's supposed to do.

It's small, lightweight, well made, and works well. Its definitely an upgrade from the cheap plasma lighter I got on line. It holds its charge so its ready when needed. It also has a handy light on the bottom, which I love. . It takes to clicks to turn on, so it doesn't accidentally turn on in the pocket. Its easy to charge, and comes with a cord. You do need a USB type A plug though, wish it was a type C.

Works for about 3 smokes and goes dead. Does not hold a charge. Very disappointing considering the crazy high price of the thing
