I like the fact that it has Morse code on the back of the packaging. This is perfect for any camping trip or long hikes in an unknown forest.

Very light weight and easy to carry around my neck on early morning hikes or camping. I'm also pleased with the low waste packaging of this product.

The whistle itself is great, it's loud and it works well… However, you basically need to learn a whole new “language” in order to properly use the Morse code. And those around you need to understand it too. Unless you're familiar with Morse code this whistle only really works for making a loud noise to attract people or to detour people from you. It's not like there's anything wrong with it, it's just that if you don't know how to use it, it's basically glorified with referee whistle. I think that what would be helpful is if they added an app that you could log into so you could reference different sentences or whistle codes, but if you don't have them, you could just get a whistle a gym teacher uses for a lot cheaper.
