This is an excellent product for transporting my eggs to work for breakfast! They are never broken and it's a compact and convenient way to carry them in my thermal lunch bag.
I'm sick of worrying about cardboard egg cartons in my cooler. The factory cardboard packing dissolves, when it gets wet from the ice. This will solve the problem. I would recommend LARGE or X Large eggs, because anything less will still fit loosely. I'm going to use it for glamping (large coolers), and if I go backpacking, I'll use it for hard boiled eggs. I'm on a high protein low carb diet, so eggs will be the perfect snack!
This Egg Holder works well for the 'frig, too.
A friend recommended this and I broke down and bought it before our first RV camping trip. Luckily I had it!! The bad fell and not a single egg broke! Definitely worth the few dollars!
The quality of the product is great
Cheap, does it's job, pretty basic container, but very useful
I purchased this to keep my hard, boiled eggs, fresh after they've been peeled. I hate the plastic bag flying around and I hate using up one of my glass containers. This is fantastic. It closes well keeps them closed up very nicely. Absolutely love it.
I bought this product because of the price, it was a lot cheaper getting the the dozen because it was cheaper by half instead of half dozen carrier don't know why but it is. I would recommend to anyone to go ahead and get the dozen you would save half the money.
My Kroger brand extra large eggs are too big for this holder. It cracked one but I was still able to cook it. I stored it on it's side in my mini fridge door shelf and luckily nothing leaked out of it. Too many misleading reviews about extra large eggs fitting in it. I will buy large eggs in the future. I wish it had come with instructions because half of the sections has raised knobs for some reason. It's still great for storage in a small fridge.
I received this last night and have already broken four eggs. I loaded the container last night and upon closing it the eggs which were extra large I guess were too big well anyway that tells me that this box is a little too small for my eggs when I tried to close the box, the eggs got crushed. I think it may be due to poor design has a little posts in the sun inside the box that fit together and I think my eggs kinda rolled over a bit and got away so far I have lost four eggs and as expensive as eggs are these days that is not cool. I was under the assumption. (never assume anything) that the container was made out of softer plastic, but it is a hard plastic. It did say what the material was in the description. I guess I didn't know what that material was and should have looked it up. I received this last night and have already broken four eggs.
