It seems to work the way it should. The posting for it said it came with a shoulder pad, good for my upcoming rotator cuff surgery. However, it came with a universal pad. The cooler bag is soft sided, but hasn't leaked. We might find a hard sided cooler to use instead. Definitely a budget brand, but seems to do the job as well as any.

I am having trouble with connection between pad hose and main unit while trying to get pad in position it became disconnected. Also the soft sided bag is not the best idea for holding any amount of water. Water was spilled on rug. I think it worked but need another container to set unit in while using to keep from getting water spilled. Scott

It worked great for my husbands shoulder surgery. We used the small bottles of water they sell for babies and froze them. It gets 4 stars simply because of we didn't keep it inside a yeti cooler, we had to restock the frozen water bottles much more often. The cooler itself doesn't stay super cold without something to put it in.

this ice pack machine is very easy to use. It is such a great value for what you pay also. I ended up (like so many others) using frozen water bottles instead of the included ice packs to keep the water cooler longer. I ended up placing the cooler back inside the shipping box and cutting a small hole for the hoses to fit through since I knew my cats would want to sit on the cooler. this is working out great and so far after 2 weeks of daily continuous usage there are no issues. I highly recommend this ice machine.

This thing helped me so much during my healing of rotator cuff/ bicep surgery . I just placed it on top of my shoulder I didn't use any of the Velcro . It's very cool/cold, not loud at all and I freeze water bottles and it comes with little ice packs to put in the water to keep it cold. They last about 2-3 hours at a time. I just replace with new ice packs. So keep the frozen .

I purchased this machine because I was going to get hip surgery. I tested it out beforehand and he instructions were easy to follow. the size of the canister is like a small lunchbox cooler.Think approximately 4/5 poweraid bottles can fit in it sideways. if there was a downside to this, I wish the cooler was a hard case especially because you are going to be having water in it for a long duration of time. I ended up sitting it in a plastic shoe storage container. there haven't been any leaks yet but better safe than sorry.

My son had rotator cuff surgery which i have had twice, both times cold therapy was key to pain control. This was quickly available, easy to use, is tucked away for anymore ailments but more importantly it did not break the bank.

This machine works great. I had shoulder surgery and it is much better than using regular ice packs. I do have to put more ice in it about every 8 hours. Other than that it's just amazing.

Product was perfect size %26 price made specifically for the knee. I was hoping it could also be used for my shoulder. It was not successor for the shoulder/bicep.

I used the cold therapy machine for my shoulder surgery. I used frozen water bottles and ice water inside the compartment. The complete control of my pain management was made possible with the use of this machine.
