Super Easy Set Up

JamesMarie June 21, 2016

This was one of the simplest pool set ups I've ever been involved in. Very impressed. The only thing to watch for is wrinkles in the bottom - if you get much water (anything over 2 inches) you can't get the wrinkles out. We didn't get 3 bigger ones to come out and now our "pool boy" has issues cleaning the pool because it gets caught on them.

Second pool...great upgrade!

Amanda416 May 23, 2016

This is our second above ground pool and our third year with a pool. We've learned a lot along the way. We have 5 kids so it was time for a bigger pool. I did a ton of research when we decided to upgrade from our 14' Summer Escapes pool. I knew that we were for sure going to use a wall mounted skimmer. We got used to that on our 14'. So I hit the pool forums and learned how to modify mine to accommodate one. Ours has two intake holes which I've read is the newer style but thankfully it came with plungers already in it so we didn't have to seal them up. We don't use those on our pool at all. We also ditched the pump that came with it since we have an Intex 2800gph sand pump. The liner is very nice and thick. Pools are very strong. I love the mosaic pattern inside. Brought it home, set it up, filled it up. Couldn't be easier. When the pool was 3/4 of the way full, I cut the hole for our skimmer. Everything works perfectly. The photos attached below are after 3 weeks of swimming and being filled. Still holding up well. The ladder that comes with it is very nice. As I mentioned, we didn't use the pump or any of the fittings (we had Intex ones with our pump) so I can't speak to how those work or not personally. We love this pool and are very happy with it. When we first bought it, it was $444. A few days later I saw that it was $386 at the store where we bought it. I was able to take my receipt in and get the price difference back so that was really nice on Walmart too. As you can see, plenty of room for all the kids to swim without bumping elbows. Water level is great. Just a tad too high for my small 6 year old but next summer he should be tall enough to swim without a life jacket. He can swim but I worried that he would get fatigued not being able to reach the bottom. I attached a few photos of our setup (please excuse our lack of landscaping...it's been very rainy!) modified to accept our Intex pump and wall skimmer. I am sure that this voids the warranty which is fine with us. The wall mounted skimmer was non-negotiable for me. It keeps the pool so much cleaner. We have an Intex multicolored LED light water sprayer that's really neat but our pump is way too powerful for it so we don't use it much. We are using an Intex plunger valve on the return since we already had them but the valves (and hoses) that came with the Coleman were very nice quality and very comparable to Intex. The hoses even fit Intex fittings. My neighbor has a similar pool to us and his pump was going out. We gave him all the fittings, hoses and pump for their pool and they say it's working great. We also purchased the Intex deluxe pool cleaning kit and it works perfect for this pool!

Perfect Pool for our family and friends!

Kevin July 12, 2016

This is a large pool and a nice size for kids 8 through adults. The water actual water level is about 43-44 inches. The metal frame and liner are good quality, well thought out and easy to assemble. Spend time up front getting a level pad. The actual assembly took about 1 1/2 hours with three people. I would recommend putting pavers or wood blocks under each leg to spread out the load and level each one to the next before filling the pool. The ground will get wet and the legs can settle if not on a solid foundation. It holds over 6,000 gallons and that took about 24 hours to fill with a hose from our well. The pump is adequate and the filters are reuseable, just get an extra and swap them out and clean the other well with a hose. The ground tarp is thin, but functional. I ended up putting indoor/outdoor carpet strips around the perimeter to cover the dirt from leveling and this provides a nice surface to walk on to maintain the pool and for water to splash onto. We also pinned down a carpet at the ladder to help keep grass out of the pool. We are using primarily the BBB pool method for chemicals and used a product that removes metals from the water due to being on a well. We have had up to 10 kids in the pool at a time, and it has been a lot of fun for our family!

Strong Product

Evans May 19, 2016

This pool is very easy to assemble. Just make sure there are 2 people involved. I have had this pool up and going two weeks, and added salt water system. So far, so good.

Coleman Swimming pool set

Darkelf40 June 17, 2016

Awesome pool for the Grandkids. Big enough that they can use it for years. Delivered ahead of schedule, went together fast. Solid frame, nothing cheap here. Looking forward to years of fun with this pool.

Very good pool.

Jessica June 18, 2016

This is a very good pool! We had purchased two smaller pools in the past (Pool Escapes) but wanted something for the growing kids and fun for adults. Setup was pretty easy and we only ran into a couple of hiccups. Next year we will level the grading of our backyard so it will be easier. The only negative comment we have is the pump is inadequate for this size pool. After a couple of days, the pool turned cloudy and we could not get a chlorine reading. Our friend, who is a pool professional, gave us some tips like using stabilizer and upgrading the pool pump to 24000 GPH with proper skimmers. All in all, we are satisfied with our purchase.

Good pool for the money

StayNBroke June 3, 2016

It's a good pool for the $. I just wish it had come with a surface skimmer basket. If it had one of those, I'd give it 5 stars. An upgrade on the filter pump to maybe a sand filter wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Weak Pump....

Kelli June 16, 2016

The pump and also the vacuum that came with the pool is very weak. I wish that both of them would have been better made to stand up better Coleman standards.

Nice pool but ascessories are 3rd rate junk!

shedev1l June 9, 2016

Pool was easy up and looks great... pump worked good for 12 days now it sounds like it's on its last leg but seems to still filter halfway decent for now... pool vacuum that attaches to hose sucks..or should I say don't suck!..had to get a self contained hand/pole held vacuum cause pump and filter is not strong enought to use a vacuum on this pool ..also had to get a better pump does not filter quite like it should ...like I said 3rd rate ascessories but no different than any other pool of this sort..spend 400 on the pool n need 350 more for appropriate filtration system and cleaning ascessories .. .. dissapointed in coleman and their website for pool instructions and ascessorie purchases ..expected alot better from coleman!!

nightmare with getting right replacement parts.

jenn June 16, 2016

We have done all the prep work and set pool up. We was ready to fill pool up next day when a small storm came through and damaged one of the top rails to pool. Called and order one and customer service told me it would be shipped and I would have it three to five days. Its been two weeks and I have made 3 calls to customer service before they even shipped my part. I finally get it 2 and a half weeks later and its wrong part. This is so fustrating.
