I like these Coleman flashlights with the slide switch. All of the other flashlights I have bought with a push button eventually fail but the old fashioned slide style switch is bullet proof. Very bright, too. Nice rubber outer edges, too. Well constructed and reliable.
As advertised, this is an excellent product.
The on/off switch is defective and will keep flashlight turned on. The other flashlight i bought from here works great.
Worked great while working on a car. The size was perfect for the tight engine space and it was bright enough to see everything I needed to get to.
I love the flashlight but it has decided to not turn off. It shines bright and dim but will not turn off unless I unscrew the bottom battery cap. The slide button will not slide down past the middle when it should slide all of the way. I don't know what is wrong with it. Anyone have any idea?
This flashlight has a very strong beam of light and what's best is the batteries are disconnected when you turn it off!
I try and keep two or three good strong flashlights handy for quick use. These flashlights are strong and easy to handle, exactly what I wanted. The Coleman reputation for good dependable products was a key selling point.
I normally love my Coleman flashlights that I decided to buy one for my daughter for Girl Scouts. She use the flashlight on one camp out and it worked great. The light started to die so went to change the batteries and the batteries that have come with the flashlight have corroded within the flashlight. So what took me almost an hour to get one battery out to find out it was corroded now means I am to throw out a flashlight that should have never had to throw out all because the batteries corroded. I can't even get the second battery out.
Nice size and amount of lumens (500). Has a battery guard system to conserve battery life. I also appreciate the limited 3 year warranty.
Durable, love that there is rubber around the light fixture. Waiting to see how long the batteries last.
