Need to be careful not to use current adapter co.
I use it on a 2 prong charging unit to charge my phone and my diabetic meter. The charging unit folds into itself. The one prong keeps coming out and that solved the problem. This unit arrived in a timely manner. The prong issue was fixed by using a standard 3-prong to 2 prong adapter. Still waiting for a replacement on that item.

Great for older home
Living in an old house and needed one of these so I could use both outlets because otherwise the plug for my mini-fridge would not fit with the appliance plug below it.

Necessary
My house has old fashioned 2 prong plugs and everything I buy has 3 prongs so this item is way cheaper than having all plugs changed out!
