We've had our pool up for a second year now in sunny, hot and humid Mississippi and love it. We don't have to take it down here, though algae filled the pool during winter and we had to empty and refill. Initial assembly was a bit difficult to set up, especially since we had to take it down when it wasn't exactly leveled out the first time. It all fits together nice and tight, which means you definitely need at least two people to put it together. We did purchase a skimmer for it and a pool liner pad to put it on. We also set out two heavy duty tarps underneath the liner pad to protect from weeds. Despite our high humidity here, there is no rust anywhere on it yet. This is our third chlorine pool. We're not pool experts, but we are familiar with pools now having owned three different kinds: metal, inflatable and now this one. Follow the assembly directions, watch the instructional DVD, set up and follow your pool maintenance schedule and enjoy your pool. There's nothing more to it. Do some research on pool maintenance. Some people have complained about the pool. Can't understand why. Is it a $2,000 swimming pool? No. Does it do the job? Yes. We found that once we put a skimmer on the pool, the filter works better and does the job. Overall, for the price, you can't beat what you get. And if you live in a warmer climate, such as southern California or down south, you don't even have to take it down. Last year we began swimming in Mid-May and didn't stop until mid-November: all without a heater.
I have used my Coleman 26' x 52" pool for the past 3 years. The first year my metal rusted but Coleman sent me an entire new frame after I contacted them with photos. The replacement frame is holding up really well. The original liner is still doing great. Definitely plan to buy an upgraded sand filter...that cartridge filter system is a HUGE pain and doesn't work well. Once I upgraded to a sand filter with salt water system AND bought a little robot vacuum (self-filtering-on Amazon) so that I don't have to manually vacuum the pool I became a happy owner! Coleman customer service was truly wonderful to work with.
I was iffy about ordering this pool not even gonna lie over some of the reviews but I'm beyond glad I did we purchased this pool may 24th 2017 we put the pool up in the dark cause 4 kids wouldn't wait till morning anyway we began filling it up and went to bed my husband woke up to a leak there was a tear in it this was not from the company but from the pallet where they cut the pallet open anyway I tried to patch it which I did we filled it up and the kids swam in it for a week but it was such a eye sore to me my neighbor suggested I call the company and they got me to send them a few pics and approved me for a new liner that will arrive within 3-5 days the pool is awesome the pump with this pool is the best one we've had we have only always had intex brand I will never be without a Coleman pool now and there customer service reps are so helpful and friendly
Huge, kids love it. It does have a cheap filter setup, but what do you expect. I did read other reviews and said it didn't attach to the Intex sand filter, we had no problems attaching it works great no extra parts to get. I don't like how it doesn't have a turn off for the hoses though, poor design there. It was easy up a lot of legs to hold the weight, and no problems so far, had it up for 5 days. If something changes I'll redo my review.
I saved for 2 years to buy my family this pool I spent just shy of $900 on it and we only had it up bout 3 weeks and we have 11 poles bent I found replacement poles that is going to cost little over $400 and that don't include shipping and handling and the water bill spent to fill it the first time and we have to take it down before it falls so not right so miss led
This was the worst investment ever. I purchased this so called pool only to get home and have no pool, vertical poles or top rails in the box. The only thing in the box was the pump, ladder set, ground cover, pool cover, and the T's. I was having a house built at the time of purchase so I wasn't able to install the pool. I called Walmnart and Bestway. The manager at Walmart was very helpful. Bestway was the worst ever. Needless too say they told me if I get any parts I would have to buy them. Pretty much I was sold a box of accessories for $500.
No, we have nothing but trouble, we purchased the extended warranty which cost is $60 which is a huge joke because when you go to file a claim they make excuses why is not covered under the warranty but if you want to purchase a new pool it will be covered under the same warranty no thank you I will never be guilty of buying a Coleman pool or anything with Coleman name on it is burnt me to the Core I have no use for Coleman pool or any of the product they may put their name on customer service is horrible also
We bought this for our grandkids since we have them for summers, and we got a total of ONE summers use!!! Only had it one year! There are 26 total top rails and every one of them where they connect to tee joint have completely rusted thru, like put your finger thru it thru!! It is now unusable and a hazard, no way they or anyone can swin in it! If you're gonna go to expense to buy I would definitely not buy one like this! Spend extra $$ on much better one! Never would We have thought Coleman would make such a bad product! We built a huge deck off to one side(which is only there because of pool) and now we are stuck on what to do. Complete waste of money and not even worth it. Between deck, landscaping and everything else, water to fill it, we are now out a lot of money for something we can't use!! Only reason I gave it one star is because it wouldn't let me put zero!
Returned first pool as all pieces not there, then second pool pump quit after only 3 weeks. Then the third pump stopped after the return date was up. So I contacted the extended warranty company through Wal-Mart, who says for the first year Coleman is responsible, Coleman says they don't make the pool it is contracted out to a company called Best Way. Best Way is out of China and will not return my inquires. So I have a pool under 6 months old, that with extended warranty ran me over $800 sitting in my yard slowly turning green that to use it looks like I will have to buy my own pool pump since they will not cover it/respond to me. DO NOT BUY
Pool is very cheap due to the high price could be better quality of products pump, pool cover also the stranth of the frame. I had this pool 3 weeks and already filled it 2 times and looking to repeat my self as soon as I get my 150 water bill down. Due to the cover not staying on and the pump not working well on this super big pool it gets really dirty fast and cloudy I tried pulling the cover titter to hold and the string got lost in the slot. I really don't care to continue to full with this pool trying to make my kids happy n I'm making my self crazy dealing with it so so much work trying to make the best of it but already frame is bent on two bars I wish I could just get my money back.
