Coleman Rainfly Accessory for 4-Person Instant Tent, Silver

I purchased this tent for a vacation coming up later this summer. For a try out despite the bad weather, I set it up. Unbelievable by myself, how easy it went up. then the rain came down. It poured, not a drop entered the tent. Cant wait for my vacation to spend some time camping. A queen size air mattress fits easy, and had room to spare. Great product Coleman.

Nice assessory for the tent keeps the rain and dew off much more

I bought the rainfly for my new 4 person cabin instant setup tent, as I've ended up camping on the fringe of two hurricanes with my Coleman dome instant setup tent. I have had to tarp the dome tent for bad rainstorms. This rainfly fits this cabin tent perfectly, and the quality looks great; so I am confident I will not have problems in rainstorms. I had read previous reviews of this rainfly stating that it was too small and did not fit this tent style. However, that is not a problem for the rainfly I received in April 2024. I haven't gone camping yet, so I can't say whether it will provide additional protection during rainstorms, but it certainly appears to be of good quality. I believe it was a good value to add additional protection.

Took a minute to figure out how to adjust it, but once I did it fit my 4 person Coleman instant cabin tent perfect!

Nice and easy to put up. Now to wait and see if it keeps rain out.

Rain fly needs to cover the windows better so that you can open the windows of the tent and water, not run in and a little vestibule cover for the door area

Good tent overall. Had to get the rain fly as an additional piece and glad I did, since it rained on and off for 3 of the 4 days the first time I camped in this tent. Easy set up and take down, made this tent a breeze to deal with. Good thing I was prepared with a cot since there was a little water pooled in the tent every morning beneath both points where the pockets attach to the walls. The rain fly allowed me enough room to leave open the windows and inch or so (thankfully no wind) to get extra ventilation. So that being said, I still really like this tent for light or no rain environments. Then you can unzip your window vents and get better airflow to reduce condensation build up. Otherwise I'm just going to do a little prep work and seal those seams around the pockets before going out on the next trip.

Must have accessory for tent camping. I'm very surprised the rainfly is not included with the tent as it is with most others sold by Coleman and other brands. Anyhoo, the rainfly is high quality with easy attachment to tent poles by use of clips, and it is adjustable for tautness. It also includes tiedown cords at each corner and stakes for added weather resistance. Honestly, best rainfly design I have ever used. Would have been rated 5 stars if the price was lower.

The lines that anchor the rain fly to the tent are too short to reach below the release buttons as directed.
