This toothbrush is awesome because of the way the bristles are shaped so it really gets around the tooth. I have bridges and feel like I can get properly into the crevices of my bridge and surround teeth. The head of the brush is also short and round so it's easy to get your back teeth, along with the fact that the bristles are spaced out quite a bit so it's flexible enough. The bristles are rigid but also soft and very perfect. The grip is nice as well.
I really love the sleek modern design of this toothbrush. The non-slip handle is made from aluminum and the heads are easy to pop off and replace when needed. I love the fact that this toothbrush helps reduce plastic waste by 80% since the reusable handle will last a very long time. The Floss Tip bristles have raised edges to help get plaque from hard to reach places. I found the bristles were soft and gentle on my teeth and gums and left my mouth feeling clean. I also love the added bonus of the tounge and cheek cleaner. I think its great when companies make products while keeping the environment in mind. Colgate has even made the packaging this toothbrush comes in 100% recyclable, so this product is much better than others out there in my opinion. .
Great and useful product! But most, less waste to the planet
I love the concept of this toothbrush and how only the head of the toothbrush becomes waste. I enjoy the feeling of the bristles on my teeth. It cleans well and is easy to use. It can be hard to find just the replacement heads.
This was the best manual toothbrush available. Unfortunately it looks like Colgate have discontinued the Gum Renewal refills for some reason and the other head options are very harsh on gums and teeth.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The past few years, I have been trying my best to be a smart conscious consumer by reducing my carbon footprints through carefully choosing eco-friendly products. I very much like the idea of keeping things that are still functioning and disposing only what is needed. When I first tried this out, I felt like the lightweight handle was sturdy enough to last multiple uses. The brush heads did not look cheap at all, I felt like my teeth were squeaky clean after using. Even though the brush heads were disposable, they did not disappoint in terms of the quality of the bristles and the build - they even included a tongue cleaner at the back! The only reason while I only gave 4 stars is because of personal preference, I would have preferred softer bristles and a smaller brush head so I could reach the back of my teeth easier. The packaging is does not go against its concept as it is recycleable. I'd definitely repurchase once I run out!
Ever since I changed the replacement head on my toothbrush, it won't stay on and keeps coming off in my mouth. I've searched online to see if I'm doing something wrong but I can't find any instructions.
I would rate this 5 stars if I could find replacement heads for it. Love the metal handle - the weight of it is great. My husband and I have been using these for about a year now. But for some reason there don't seem to be ANY compatible replacement heads for sale anymore. It's absolutely ridiculous that something marketed as sustainable wouldn't be managed the same way to supply the replacements needed. Colgate majorly missed the mark on this, with very poor planning. Instead of following through on their sustainable promise, they have left customers holding expensive metal handles that can't be used for anything. Good job doing the opposite of what you marketed, Colgate! Sarcasm aside, Colgate, it wouldn't be a stretch for you to produce replacement heads to fit your manual toothbrushes (this specific one was also billed as fitting ANY Colgate manual toothbrush head replacement). You still manufacture replacement heads for your electric brushes. Why not produce at least ONE line of manual replacement heads???
Bought it about 2 months thrilled at first but then could mot find replacement for it without having to buy a whole new toothbrush. Then go to scan and still cannot find replacement brushes. Very poor product sale. Colgate just frustrated thousands of customers. If I could give 0 stars. Make it easierto buy repacement heads and I might come back. No not gonna call your number already wasted enough of my time
There is nothing soft about it. It feels like you are brushing your teeth (and gums) with a brush made of tiny needles. I was looking for a soft enough brush to prevent gum recession. This product is not it.
