Colgate Optic White Renewal Teeth Whitening Toothpaste, Mint, 3 oz Tube

I like this optic white due to all the above.

My family has used Colgate Optic since it first arrived on the market. My husband is quite pleased with it. However, I "do" see whiter teeth when I switched to Renewal.

I had been using 'Colgate Optic White Platinum - High Impact White' for years and thought it was pretty great. When it vanished from store shelves, I could not understand why Colgate would discontinue such a good product. I was bummed. That toothpaste had thoroughly cleaned my teeth to a smooth glossy feeling while keeping stains at bay. I am a huge tea drinker and have been since the age of 10. With its 2% hydrogen peroxide, that toothpaste erased the tea stains and made my smile brighter. I sadly used the last few tubes I had on hand and started searching for another brand to buy. That's when I finally saw the TV ads for this new 'Renewal' version. I was surprised by the higher price and was sure it would not be worth the higher cost. Boy, I was wrong. From the very first use, I saw a significant increase in whitening over the previous version. With continued use, the whitening has only continued to increase. I'm now about a week into using this new 'Renewal' version, and the 3% hydrogen peroxide is giving me amazing results. At 60 years old, and as a constant tea drinker, I never thought my teeth could be this white again. I figured the slight yellowing I had was just a natural part of aging. Wrong! This toothpaste has made my teeth whiter than I've ever seen them and without the separate step of using trays or strips. At only a week into using this, my teeth are only continuing to get whiter. The difference is that, after only a week of use, my teeth are easily twice as white as when I starting using it. I can't wait to see the continued results. This stuff is amazing!!!

I am 69 and my teeth have been really yellowing. I have good strong teeth but always a tint of yellow never white. So I decided to try. This stuff really works. I use twice and day as suggested and even my husband noticed a difference. I am not a smoker or coffee drinker so can not blame yellow on that. I have been using for a month now.

It is minty and fresh but does not make your teeth white right away if you are using the trial size. It just makes the already white teeth whiter but not the teeth that are off white. It can also numb your tongue or any area the tooth past is left on. Therefor, make sure to read directions.

I have naturally yellow teeth. I used this toothpaste twice a day for a month and a half, and it made no difference. It might be good for removing stains from teeth, but it will not whiten your teeth if they are not already white beneath the stains.

Made my teeth hurt the very first time using it, used it for 2 weeks and my teeth look more yellow and very sensitive

Don't waste your money it doesn't whiten your teeth 10 shades, this product works no better than any other whitening toothpaste that you can pay half the price of.

This started my teeth aching after just one brushing. After two days, it was getting difficult to eat my teeth hurt so much. After returning to my old toothpaste, my teeth feel fine again.

In very small print it says: Whitens after a month. Nowhere in the ad did it state that. I knew it wouldn't take off 10 years of yellow in 1 brushing, but waiting a whole month of using it twice a day is ridiculous. So much easier to use my 5minute whitening gel. That dose the job in a few days.
