This is hands down one of the best toothpastes I've used. Colgate Total Active Prevention Deep Clean leaves my teeth and mouth feeling incredibly clean and fresh after every brush. I like that it's still a paste instead of a gel. A lot of them you can't find it in a paste anymore. it makes your teeth feel clean. it's great for sensitivity in your teeth. it's refreshing and I even brush my tongue with it.

I have used Colgate toothpaste for many years. I bought the regular toothpaste last time but I bought the Colgate - Total this time and I like it a lot better

My teeth must feel clean at all times and this brand does it! I was using Arm and Hammer and they changed something so I came back to Total and viola! I went to the dentist recently and she said, "wow, your teeth are so clean there's really nothing for me to clean!" That's what I'm going for because toothpaste crust I just can't do. So Colgate, you have the formula, don't touch it! Highly recommend.

Colgate Total helps brighten my teeth and freshens my breath and helps keep my gums healthy. I love the stand up tube.

For some reason it made my gums sore. Could just be me so I won't give it a lower rating. May work well for someone else.

I’ve used Colgate toothpaste for 36 years. It was always fine. Then they rolled out this “active prevention” formula recently and it is AWFUL. I tried it for the first time today and it made me feel like I’d burned my mouth with a vodka shot lit on fire. It’s also strangely watery in texture so my teeth don’t feel as clean. I guess that could just be in my head and the toothpaste still works as a cleaning agent but it’s just an awful experience all around. Please bring back the old formula - and in the big tube, too. This is not only a worse product, it’s also a much smaller tube! Zero stars.

I wanted to love this toothpaste, but I don't. Every time I use it and it gets on my skin around my mouth it gives me a chemical burn. I stopped using it and I will never purchase again.
