I actually like it better
Yes it changed, but the old formula had triclosan in it and this doesn't. Instead it has stannous fluoride (SF) which is the most beneficial form of fluoride that helps with everything from controlling bacteria to sensitivity. The tubes got smaller but there are 5 (instead of 4) now so it's the same amount. I switched from Colgate to Sensodyne many years ago because of sensitivity to cold but because of the stannous fluoride I can now use Colgate which is far more affordable.

Excellent, cheapest stannous fluoride product!
About half the cost of Crest or Parodontax with the same active ingredient. Stannous fluoride can take some getting used to, but once you do your gums will thank you!

Most Affordable Toothpaste with stannous fluoride
This is a great toothpaste - and has really helped my teeth recover from sensitivity caused by 4 recent tooth fillings. And unlike other toothpastes - it also helps kill the bacteria that causes gingivitis. I do not notice any issues with the flavor either. I hope Colgate keeps this toothpaste - since other "stannous fluoride" based products are way too expensive.

Have used it for years but the new flavor, nope.
It has a weird aftertaste now that is strange. I am not sure, but it may be the sensitivity ingredient...again, no clue. But nonetheless, they messed up with the new flavor.

ruined a good product
Of course, they had to go and ruin a good product and follow in the steps of crest (never liked that brand) with stannous fluoride (also stains teeth) when the triclosan was working just fine. the best toothpaste on the market and especially the swirly gel mix. but all good things come to an end because some idiots decide it is to be so.

absolutely awful
I never would have thought to look at reviews of toothpaste before buying. So sorry I did not. Colgate ought to be ashamed of themselves. They say this is new great flavor with new ingredients. Let me tell you this flavor is horrible. Bringing it back.

New Formula Flavor is horrible No longer ADA Cert Stannous fluoride, is the new agent, prefer the old formula and by the other reviews, others do as well....HORRIBLE... Been using Colgate total for years, now bought Crest Tarter control...

Colgate ought to be ashamed
New flavor (taste) is terrible. Also they have smaller tubes (roughly 2 oz. less). Will switch to another brand of toothpaste.
