Although this light does not have a foot switch as described, it does have a pull chain and 3 different light settings that can be adjusted as needed with the pull chain. I personally think it adds character. The materials are also pretty high quality for the price. I'm always a bit skeptical with a rolled up lamp shade but this shade has clips that attach to the shade frame to hold the shade in place and it was fairly easy to assemble.

It was easy to assemble. I did switch out the lightbulb it came with for a different one as the one in the packaging is a lower quality and does not provide warm white lighting. The lamp stand is lightweight so it does sway at times from strong movement.

It's very very delicate and you can see how the lampshade has clips around it holding the lampshade in place. There is two light settings, if they claim 3 different tones, you cannot tell....there is a soft white and a bright white. I guess I need something a little more sturdy as I have a 2 year old who yanks on the chain

I bought this for my grandson's room since surface space was at a premium. He liked the height, the amount of light and the small amount of floor space needed. However, he didn't care for the cylindrical shade so replaced it. It was economical and functional.

Love the look but the shade is a bit tricky to put together. It unrolls and snaps into little hooks around the top in (4) places. It's cute when turned on and the warm/cool light tones are a nice touch. But honesty it feels very rickety when turning on/off. The shade moves and makes the product “feel” cheap.

Walmart products are becoming similar to what you get on Temu crossed with the cheaper items from IKEA. I should have paid more attention to the stated height because it's not that tall, about 5.5ft. The shade is some kind of linen-like fabric glued to a thin piece of acrylic that you have to assemble. You can't help but pinch part of the edge while doing this. The rods are thin and tend to lean a bit, even when screwed in tight. Best for ambient light only. Good thing I'm only using this in my office because it looks ok but rather "cheap." It was, however, easy to assemble. But you get what you pay for.

I did not read the production description correctly and wasn't too happy with the shades as they are of rice paper and assumed they were glass. They're okay for now. I do like the different settings of light output.

Thought I would like these, but upon opening and assembling it, it wasn't what I thought it would be. I have the same lights, but from another store and they were a better and material and overall look these are pretty, but they're not my style. It was as well smaller than expected. I wasn't expecting it to be small. I put it next to the one I have and it was smaller and skinnier.

not very useful in my opinion can only accommodate a 60 watt bulb and that does not give enough light to read by. definitely not work the $25 that I paid for this and also it looks cheap
