I had Blue Ruin by Good Dye Young (loved this color) in my hair and honestly thought I’d be rocking blue strands until retirement. Nothing was touching it—I was fully committed to the Smurf aesthetic. Then I tried Color Oops Bold Remover. Did I have to use both treatments in the box? Yup. Did it dry my hair out a bit? Also yup. But did it actually pull out that stubborn blue? A RESOUNDING YES. It didn’t smell like the other oops so that’s a big plus. I’m not saying my hair feels like a silk commercial now (it doesn’t), but the color is GONE and I can finally move on with my life. Worth every crispy strand. Deep conditioner is your new best friend—trust me. (Forgot to get a photos of my hair after the second treatment)
I have blue hair and I wanted to try something else it was very easy I put it in my hair I waited it took all my blue out now I dyed my hair with something else and it didn't work so I'm back to blue again but when I change my color in the summer something lighter I will use this again it's great product
This exceeded my expectations! For reference I had icy blue and pastel blue left in my hair, I wanted to go more silver white.. so wanted to remove it. Blues are notoriously hard to get out of the hair completely. I used this, did one side (sectioned hair) at a time, left it on (after full application to section) for about it 25 min so a total time of 35 min and it was level 10! ***Please be aware this IS a bleaching product. If your hair is extremely compromised It might be better to let hair fade gradually and use the other color oops as it does not damage the hair the way bleach does.*** This left my hair feeling pretty good afterwards too! It has a bond repair mask that you mix in with the bleach and I think it helped a lot. Hair was not awfully gummy afterwards. I could run my fingers through it. 10/10 would recommend if you’re trying to get stubborn color out and don’t want to fully bleach. Now I have my perfect icy lilac silver color I wanted!
It would have worked well if I had lived anywhere else, I live in Washoe Valley, NV, and we have so much iron in the water that when I used this product, my hair turned bright orange!
Surprised how well this works, and I love that it comes with 2 applications in one box! I have thick hair so I have to use both applications, but it really did its job! Next time I’m ready to re do my hair, I’ll definitely be buying this again!
I had dark blue hair. I had to combine the two applications because I had a lot of hair. I recommend to leave it on as long as possible to get the result you want!! But it works!!
I have dyed my hair over the last 15 years and never used color remover just bleach and dye and then black over it when I didn't want to maintain color. The photo shows one application (I used two full boxes since I have long waist length hair) it took me from a level 1 to a level 3/4 . There is a ring around the top of my head that is level 6 but that's because it is my growth of virgin hair. If I could give a tip is to treat a virgin growth as you would roots and do them after it has started to process on the mid shafts, if I knew that I think it would've been more even and the perfect base for my red velvet color. I also intentionally didn't touch my roots directly on my scalp also did the last inch and a half of ends at the very end right after doing the mid shafts to prevent breakage. The smell is very intense when applying but not so bad after a cap.
Works great just not enough to do one application even though it says it’s two! I have shoulder length thin hair. This box wasn’t enough to do my whole head!!!!
This is bleach!! I didn’t realize this was bleach until all of the color was gone from my hair. The original Color Oops removed the newest layer of color not all the color from your hair.
I've used a different color oops before %26 had a great experience. I didn't realize this one lightens your existing color by lightening/bleaching everywhere you apply it. It lightened my colored hair and bleached my undyed hair sections it got on.
