I popped them in the washer, got them out, and they were still stiff. After about 4 washes in the next few weeks, they did soften a little bit so I do like them more now. Here's the things I like: - they don't produce a lot of lint in the dryer cycle so they will last a lot time - the grip on their fitted sheet is amazing. No matter how I move around, they do not give up. - they are thick white sheets and you can't see through them to the mattress or pillow Heres what I don't like: - they are thick, which means they are a little on the warmer side. If you get hot at night, you'll want to stay away from them. - they are still a little stiff, and I like smoother, softer sheets.

Only complaint is that they are not 100% cotton, they are polyester blend. They are breathable though, so far, but they are being tested in cooler weather. They fit the bed great, elastic band is thick and holds onto the bed well.

So while it might extend durability and life of those sheets, it's not very breathable and comfortable, since polyester is, basically, plastic. While it might work for hotels or Airbnb, I wouldn't recommend to purchase it for your own house. I put those sheets in our motorhome that we use very rare, so it worked out perfectly. Also wanted to mention the size of pillowcases-they are barely covering queen-sized pillows. And lastly, tags are placed in the most used areas, Idk why? I don't want the tags scratching my face/neck. I think brand could do some improvements.
