Colorescience Even Up Multi-Correction Serum, 1 fl oz

I was apprehensive at first but after the first use I noticed how smooth my skin looked after I applied the rest of my products. Everything seemed to last and continued to look fresh, including blush! Even up was now too heavy, just the right consistency, absorbed quickly, and helped my face product glide on smoothly and evenly. I've finally found it. My perfect primer!

I struggle with Vitamin C. It's way too harsh for my skin normally but I wanted a product in my routine to address my hyperpigmentation concerns and my esti recommended this line. I am so impressed! Everything these days contain Niacinamide (which makes me break out) but fortunately, this product doesn't! It's gentle enough for my incredibly picky skin and I use it prior to my Retinol as a buffer. Four stars because I haven't used it on its own to see what a difference it makes, but I think it's a great addition to a nightly skin routine. I cleanse, use this serum, then add my Retinol, and then moisturize. One bottle lasted me about 3-4 months, and initially I wasn't sure if I would purchase again, but now I can't do without! So I'm already on my second bottle and will continue to purchase. Please do not change the formula or discontinue!

I use this serum along with Pigment Perfector and it seems to work very well. It provides good hydration and my spots don't seem to get darker by using both products. The best thing about this product for me is that I can use it continuously and my skin doesn't get irritated like it does with other treatments such as hydroquinone or retinol. It's pricy especially combined with Pigment Perfector, but I'll continue to use it as long as it works.

Finally, a serum product that doesn't have Niacinamide in it!! I'm allergic to Niacinamide but everyone puts it in their products these days, so I was relieved to see this didn't have it. I already love this company's sunscreen, so I decided to give this serum a try. I use it nightly to layer under my Retinol and moisturizers, and after three months of using it, I can say it's definitely made difference. I may try to use it alone without my other products to see how big of a difference it makes, and I thought maybe I would go without it once I finished the bottle to see if it was just my other products making a difference, but I found myself compelled to order another bottle. I think if you have sensitive skin and need something to sandwich between your Retinol, this is a great product!
