Nice hardware kit for installing a sunshade over a 12x12 dining area

This hardware kit is exactly what is needed to install a ColourTree USA shade sail. The quality of the hardware is first-rate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is must-have hardware to ensure a secure and lasting installation of your Super-Ring Shade Sails - especially in high-wind conditions. I would have given it a 5-star rating if they offered: a) Self-tapping screws, and b) closed-loop turnbuckles, as these would have been preferable for my specific needs.

Being outdoors the entire time...these turnbuckles etc. are decent quality. The cababiners however, don't appear to be stainless steel...can't say for sure but this kit is a good fit for sail needs. I would prefer to have optional cable lengths however, as some installs are not all that perfect nor able to be perfect which requires shorter cables. This kit with an option to select 3 foot, 4 foot, 6 foot, 8 foot etc. would be ideal as the 12 foot only can be too long and require other ideas to attach the sail. Either that or offer the cable shortening tools to do so.

Do not buy this unacceptable junk hardware! This is labeled as a heavy duty 1500 LB. Capacity hardware kit. This is false advertising as the turnbuckles are only 6 millimeter thats smaller tan 1/4" thread. There is no way these tiny little turnbuckles would support 1500 lbs. Thats almost 1 ton. What a joke and false advertising. I had to go out 5.6 " diameter turnbuckles to hang and tension my 10' x 16' shade sail.
