This large ice pack is wonderful. It was a game changer after having a hip replacement. My doctor ordered a fancy one from a medical equipment that strapped on and could air up. By far this ice pack is the most superior.!!!
Best ice pack ever. Bought two for an upcoming knee surgery and I wish I'd known about these my whole life. Discovered them at my physical therapist visits and that's where I fell in love, I'm very frugal and they are very much worth the cost.
I had one but needed to purchase another for double knee replacement. These last forever in the freezer and are truly a great product. Highly recommend for any type of injury, soreness, or surgery.
This is fantastic if you have a bad back, it may be to large for your freezer so check the dimensions
I love it stays cold longer and big enough to even wrap around
Needed a xlarge cold pack and found these heavy duty ones. After opening the package and laying the cold pack flat it froze evenly and it is very well made. It gets very cold and lasts a long time. I am extremely pleased and would purchase another one.
It's great and is flexible. But, it is very heavy.
I got the "oversized" size, and there seems to be some confusion over the size. I measure 12x16 inches, and it's listed as both 11x21 and 12.5x18.5 at Walmart.com. The size may vary depending on temperature and if measured full of gel or flat, but a 5 inch discrepancy is hard to justify. So, I have to take a star off for that. I use it on my car seat, which gets really hot when the sunlight is on it, and it does the job there, keeping me cool and also cooling down the seat (I have a sunlight blocker for the front window, but not for the side windows). I just ordered a couple more for the seat back. When right out of the freezer, I need to wrap a towel around it to keep my butt from freezing, but when it warms up a bit I ditch the towel. (I have to stop to do this, while driving, of course.) Seems to last for at least a half hour, as others have said, which is plenty long enough for the car seat to cool down. I was afraid that condensation would be a problem, but so far it hasn't been. I don't really understand why, though. I was expecting puddles to form. Also, I wish they had a white cover, for this purpose, as black absorbs the sunlight. I weigh about 200 pounds, but I was able to sit on it without it bursting. Can't vouch for how long they will last, though, as I just bought my first one.
The cold pack is very heavy and not easy to maneuver . I'm a senior citizen and would not be able to use it. I can barely lift the package it came in. I didn't open it and, will be returning it.
Needed for knee replacement post surgery but it's too heavy for my current condition barely walking, low endurance. I'd order the next size smaller 13.5 x 10 perhaps
