Columbia Men's Glennaker Lake Rain Jacket

The jacket is great, I was looking for a rain packable jacket and it fits all what I was looking for, it is sizeable in the sleeves and you can hide the hood so it has a lot options that may fit for many weathers. The only low that it may have is that it's mainly made of polyester and it makes you sweat but it is something expected and not a big deal.

This is the second rain jacket of this style that I bought. I bought my first jacket in 2016 at Dicks Sporting Goods in Brunswick, Ga because while on vacation on St. Simons Island, Georgia we ran into a rain storm with no rain jacket. I still had the original jacket in 2023 and it was still in great shape, but I lost it, because I left it somewhere, at least I thought I did because after the new jacket arrived, I found the old one. I am six foot two and one hundred and eighty-nine pounds today. In 2016, when I bought the jacket, I was two hundred and sixty pounds, so the original rain jacket I purchased was an XXL, and it was too big for my smaller frame today, so I am glad I purchased not only one but two different styles of rain jackets which I love.

I'm a baseball coach for a travel team in south Texas. After getting rained on 3 weekends in a row and not having a rain jacket, I ordered this one. Haven't been disappointed one bit. It's light and breathable, slightly big which I prefer, and keeps me completely dry. Very happy with the purchase.

It is light weight, easy to pack for trips, and a great rain jacket. It does have just enough style to also look great! This jacket is perfect over t-shirts, long sleeve shirts, even thicker shirts. Both guys also liked how very waterproof the jacket is. This jacket is a great find!

This jacket is a fave! It's the second time we've bought this jacket but in a different color this time. Looks nice plus perfect for when the terribly chilly weather is gone.

A simple, uninsulated, unvented, lightweight, waterproof rain jacket that has a stowable, hideaway hoodie tucked inside the collar. The best sleeve cuff arrangement and well proportioned, as though it was tailored to fit me perfectly. This rain jacket is the perfect top coat outerwear over layered down and synthetic insulated jackets, sweaters, sweatshirts, or just summer shirts as a windbreaker. This is exactly what I wanted. I now have three of these, always one in the car, one as a protective wrap over a precious down jacket on a hanger, and one just handy to toss on to spare a sportcoat and tie when emergencies come laden with mud and grease. The best shell I ever had.

It's fine but VERY thin. It was to replace the one I've loved for some 10 years but they didn't but the thin mesh lining down the sleeves nor beyond just the front chest area. Why?? It was always 'packable' so why so thin??
