Columbia Staircase Bunk Bed Twin over Full with 2 Raised Panel Bed Drawers in Walnut

I wanted my grandsons to have more floor space in their guest room, but I also wanted adults to be able to sleep there as well. I also wanted some storage without taking away from the floor space bunk beds would create. This bed is the perfect answer to all my desires! I LOVE it and have no regrets. Another reviewer mentioned a chemical odor but this odor dissipates after a few days. I got the honey maple with underbed storage and stairway. It is a beautiful amber brown and blends perfectly with my pine floors. It is sturdy and very well made. The stairway can go on the right or left side of the bunkbed but you should figure this out beforehand or you will have to turn the top bunk around for the guardrail opening to match the top of the stairs. My husband put this together and it was not quick, but it was do-able. I was happy I paid for room delivery because it came in about 9 HEAVY boxes. Two men grunted their way up my stairs. Highly recommended!

Bed arrived in good shape with all the hardware required, plus extras. There was a lot of assembly required but with two people, was able to get it done in about 3 hours. Looks great, my kids absolutely love it. This whole bed is made of solid wood...not a drop of cheap material on this bed. Highly recommend it.

I was impressed with how sturdy this furniture is. It was packaged extremely well - big dents in the corners of a box did nothing to the furniture. This does, however, make for a TON of waste. I took a truckload of cardboard to the dump for recycling, and 5 trash bags of styrofoam to Publix (which they said they'd recycle). The only negative is that the short rail on the top bunk that hangs above the stairs doesn't really attach well to the bunk, so it jiggles a bit. Still smell a little varnish but it's getting better.

Design: Very good, relatively easy to put together, lots of packaging to keep finish unscuffed. Appearance: Very small details needed attention; one small spot of paint run, somee hole needed to remove excess wood debris for nut to sit right, some holes too big and nut turned inside, but overall good. Overall: We are very happy with the bed. It is a sturdy bed and could be separated if need be in the future.

This was a very good purchase. The beds are exactly what we wanted, space saving , great quality, easy assembly and very attractive.good value.

Really please with entire unit

It had one wrong hardware package, I had to improvise. It has been up for a week and still has a strong chemical smell. Stay away!!!
