Use prosciutto to stuff into chicken breasts or one inch thick porkchops. In stuffing also use sauteed spinach, sauteed fresh mushrooms and sauteed green onions. Also throw in a piece of swiss or provolone when you put in prosciutto. Cut chicken lengthwise, and stuff with above. use toothpicks to secure, then put through egg bath: first dredge in flour both sides, into eggs beaten with small amount of water, and finally panko with lots of grated Parmesan, S%26P, garlic powder. Brown both sides. Put leftover egg onto chicken or pork chop and into oven 400 degrees 40-50 min. Yum easy peasy.
It was easy to get apart with the dividers but the overlap at the bottom caused it to stick together and pull apart from the full piece ... it was great flavored and texture was just the right especially over a cracker with a small bit of cheese ... hand full of grapes and it was a nice snack
We enjoy this about once a week for our charcuterie dinners. Just a tip for those who might not like the texture — we often dry it out (to our preferred texture and even crispness). We put it into a warm oven for a few minutes — like I said, to just fry it out or crisp it — as desired, low heat, 2-4 minutes (more if you like crisp). Anyway, great flavor and good fat content.
Great Taste!! Bought this for Stromboli but it didn't make it to Stromboli. This is great as a light meal too. Just ask the Stromboli 😎
I could live on this with cheese! I love it wrapped around catelope or honey dew melon with cracked black pepper on top! Yummy!
I think the texture wasn't the most suitable and the color looked like it had been painted, the flavor was pleasant.
the prosciutto ham was in a vacuum sealed container which obviously had a hole in it because a third of the meat was all dried out I wish that the person who picked it out had seen this and sent it back to the distributor instead of selling it to a customer
Slices were cut to thickly for prosciutto. Because of the cutting thicker than deli prosciutto, it was very tough and overly salty.
very bland. flavorless. not what a prosciutto should be
Too stringy with lots of fat. My package also was outdated. I received my Walmart order on 10/12/24, the”Best to use” date was stamped 9/11/24. Month before my purchase. I will never buy this product again. Unfortunately I didn’t see that date before I opened the package and ate part of it.
