Assembly was straightforward %26 only took a few minutes to complete. I used this when prepping/planting our no till garden %26 it was AMAZING! We have clay-like soil %26 it broke apart the ground w/ ease %26 also much easier than the handheld version. Ive also used when planting our flower garden %26 has worked perfect for our needs.

I found it quite simple to use. I particularly appreciate the long handle and the serrated edge. It is sturdy and well-constructed. The foot pad, which allows for easy pushing into the soil, made it effortless to dig as deep as required. I am very satisfied with this tool.

i love the planter because i dont have to bend over or sit on the ground to plant my bulbs, it saves me time because I can dig my holes all at one time.

Just received this and assembly took a few minutes and I quickly used this to help repair bad sections of my lawn. Use was a breeze, just push down hard into the earth, make a little twist and pull out the plug of grass. I found it easy to pull up and save 5 or 6 plugs. Then pull up your good plugs, keeping each one in the tool and then use the tool to push the good plug into the area needing repair. You can then put the bad plugs in the hole you made from the good plugs.

Very well made, steel construction with heavy duty screws, nuts and comfortable hand grips. Even came with a matching pair of work gloves!!Was very simple to put together. The business end is sharp with a sturdy, steel footrest to push down into the earth with, then it has a foot retracted devise to lift up a 4” diameter area of soil, drop in your bulb, and replace your soil - all without bending over. It's perfect, well worth the low price.

Good product, fast shipping, well packaged. Comes with tools to assemble. Made of very tough steel, quality welding and build. Great for digging holes in the ground for bulb planting and for making St Augustine grass plugs. Has a convenient plug ejection slide activated by foot. Teeth on tool are great for rotating down into tough dirt. My only gripe is that the foot step used to provide pressure when digging plug is only on one side, would have been much better to include a foot step on the other side so you can jump on it. But the saw-like teeth compensate for this deficiency because you can tear down into the dirt by rotating the tool in circles.

Works well to get a nice hole to put starter plants or grass plugs.

The surface for your foot to push against or jump on is too small and only on one side. This makes it tough to get enough resistance to actually push through the ground. So after trying it once, it's going back in favor of an auger that fits on a drill.

Not at all line the one I had,previous;y
