I used to use the terror ant traps that you have to open with scissors at the ramp, but this is the most effective ant killer I have ever used. we live in the woods and really struggle with outside ants and house ants. I haven't used it outside but I did use it along several different ant trails indoors. the amount of dead ants I have cleaned up has been crazy! i'm not sure what it does in the nests but I know it is a very effective ant killer. it needs to be reapplied if it gets a dry top, but I just use a tiny dollop in multiple places for effectiveness. it's kinda thick, so you can even use it on vertical surfaces too! once you apply it, the ants just come running!
If you have ants this is the best! It's my go to one application and they're gone within a day. Most of the time they don't return for a very long time. Do not put on your surfaces will stain and hard to remove. Put it on something disposable Highly recommend!
I tried the standard traps first and they did nothing, so a friend recommended this ant killer and it is working great. The ants went straight to it and within a short time the problem started clearing up. It looks like I will save a bunch of money since I will not need to hire an exterminator. Very glad I switched to this product.
This is effective and easy to use. Use this and your indoor ant problem will be over in a matter of days whereas the popular ant bait traps take weeks. I used the Terro ant bait traps for about two weeks and it was ineffective. Then I purchased this Combat Max Ant Killing Gel and after applying it in the same exact areas the ants were gone in two days. And, it's really easier and more cost effective to use the Combat Max Ant Killing Gel than it is to purchase bait traps. You get a large syringe that you can store later and use whenever there is another indoor ant problem. The bait traps aren't something you can really store and use later. Nor were the ones I chose even effective. So, I can't recommend this Combat Max Ant Killing Gel enough. Just put it in safe place away from skin contact, or ingestion, or pets or children. It doesn't have a bad smell and it's a clear easy to manage gel. It comes in a tube that is easy to store away. I put it back in it's original store plastic shell packaging for storage just make it easier to locate and less likely to get damaged and leak.
Walmart is much cheaper than the home improvement stores for these products
It is very effective to kill the ants.
Works fast
Super easy to dispense, however if applying in multiple spots you have to pull the plunger back out otherwise the gel will keep coming out. Overall, do not recommend. Nearly a week later it has done nothing to curb the ant problem. Don't have a really bad infestation, but I'm still seeing ants, it's as if they just steer clear of the gel.
I didn't receive it when I got my package delivered had to get a refund for it the driver didn't get it
The photos on the item say that it works against carpenter ants but the one that they sent me clearly says that it doesn't! It's going back!
