Conbat really works. It works even if you're LAZY and refuse to clean properly. It certainly works when you do clean properly and leave THIS for the nasty critters to eat. IT Works hard and FAST!! I attempt to love all of the creations of THE HIGHER POWER but, wow, it is so hard to feel anything GOOD about these and flies! 🤣 All I can say is, if you DISLIKE them as much as I do, them GET THIS. Little drops here and there GO A LONG WAY. Just like when you drop a crumb they come running!! Well keep that in mind as you apply. Cabinet/door hinges, base boards, cracks, under appliances, etc. Get a great Spray/foggers, then use this! Huge difference quickly. Consistency will have your home roach free within three months! Ps! Lazy people..? THUS EILL HELP however, NOTHING will get rid of your roaches IF You Continue to FEED THEM as if they are PETS! CLEAN/Cover ALL FOOD SOURCES. DO NOT PUT/leave Food/trash in your drains. ROACHES ENTER YOUR HOME THROUGH YOUR DRAINS and large gaps under snd around your doors.
While I can honestly say I hate roaches, living in south florida they are a fact of life. I find these traps work really well in keeping them out of my house. I have a covered screened porch do I put them outside by the door and also inside by the doors. Also keep some in the kitchen under the sink. No matter how clean your house is roaches have a way of getting these traps help keep them away. I will definitely continue to use them wherever I live.
I'm from Rochester New York and never saw roaches this big. I killed two roaches with Bleach spray. I ordered these Combat Max Roach bait, until Orkin Exterminator arrives on Thursday April 9, 2026. I also wish my next door neighbor would clean up their dog poop in the back yard. Also, being careful who brings in bags into your home.
I once saw an interview with an exterminator on the news. When asked what's the best product for DIY extermination, he said that roach baits are best. That's all I use now. They work great! And the more often you use them, the less often you have to replace them as time goes by.
I live in Florida and they're known for the big flying "palmetto" roaches,I moved in a new place that had a small plumbing hole in the laundry room wall where 2 of these roaches came in and the day I put 3 of these down I haven't seen any. I will buy these again, they are very effective. They do the job!
I like this larger size bait container. I think larger roaches are can enter these traps and access the bait more so than the regular size containers. I have seen very few dead roaches since I started using these bait containers. It could be that roaches, after accessing the bait, die in places that can't be seen. I also like that the bait in the containers is not easily accessible by children or pets. Furthermore, the bait is without noticeable odor.
I seem to require these about late December/ early January every year. I'm not sure if it's the weather, my neighbors, or all the food and guests at my house for the holidays. This product is the most effective I have found for my situation. I really like that they come in 2 separately sealed packs of 4 each. This allows me to do 2 separate “treatments” with one package. They are only effective for about a week, maybe less, about 5 days. Perhaps the bait is all taken in that time, or it just dries out, I don't know for sure why, but after about 5 days, I've seen a roach walk right past them. I'd have to say, that is the only thing I dislike about them, that they don't last very long, and total eradication usually takes 2 to 3 weeks, setting the bait out 3 to 4 times to ensure all eggs are killed as well. The first time I tried the product I stopped seeing them almost immediately. But within in a week, very small ones returned. So multiple treatments are required. But for the price, it is a very affordable DIY solution. On the kitchen counter, in the corners, hidden behind other objects seems to work best.
I did buy 16 counts and put them all over kitchen area. In 3/4 days I haven't seen a single dead roaches. This product doesn't work what it is supposed to do. I am very disappointed and frustrated. I wasted my 17/18$. Please return my money. I would have given -100 stars if I could.
I inquired to Henkel Consumer Goods, the maker of this product, asking how to read the code on the box. This box of roach baits that you sent was manufactured on 05/25/2015 and was effective until 05/24/2018 -- over 2 YEARS AGO!! Please refund my money and replace it with a box with a reasonable expiration date. www.combatbugs.com 1-800-258-3425
I read the instructions carefully but it seems that there should be an extra step. Instructions are to break the Bait Traps apart by the perforated plastic and place each trap in a corner or firmly against the wall. No puncturing, be sure not to rip or take off the Label on the bottom - cannot tell if the bait is solid and our hands were exposed to the poison, or if there is a step missing. The Traps appear to be untouched.
