It is just the right weight if you want to "take the chill off" and looks cute draped across the lower corner of the bed after it is made. It washed up nicely and is very soft.

I'd recommend if you go into it knowing it is extremely thin and light, almost just a decoration. it's like laying a tshirt on your lap. But it's soft and pretty and will work for summer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this blanket free with my order. It is fairly small and made out of artificial materials. But it is soft and pretty, so I don't really have any complaints other than it is too small for me. I am 5'8”

If I had one issue with the blanket, it would be with the quality of the output. Not sure who manages quality control, but we had several snags in the blanket. We opted to snip them out instead of waiting through the process of returning and reordering. I will say that for it to be free with our purchase, I have even less to complain about. Not as "full and fluffy" as the picture indicated, but it is a very nice addition to our space. Our main order came before the blanket, but it did show up around a week after the bed spread came.
