Comfort Pointe Derby Blue Gooseneck Arm Chair

Ordered this chair for my mothers birthday (week before Christmas). It arrived at 9 pm just as we were leaving home for our two hour drive home. The delivery man couldn't have been more pleasant. We quickly placed the box in the hallway and when she saw it she had no idea what it could be (she 92) - in her world who delivers big boxes at 9pm (we told her Santa). In less than an hour, our 20 year old grandson had the chair assembled and placed exactly where she wanted it!. Wood was perfect, assembly was easy (all the parts were there and nothing was miss matched). The color is great (beige), the seat is a little stiff (but that works for Mom). I looked at similar chairs from other online retailers and this by far was the best price. This is my second online purchase from Sam's Club and they haven't let me down yet.

This is the third chair that I have purchased. I love them. The first red chair I purchased, a very very heavy neighbor sat in it and the cushion support broke. So the chair sits with kind of an indentation in it. Not to bad. So I bought this third chair to replace the red chair. I also purchased a light green chair and it is very pretty. Unless you have a very very heavy neighbor, these chairs sit well and hold up well. Attractive also.

We moved into a Church building, and I needed chairs for the pulpit. After a diligent search, I found the Comfort Pointe Hampton Chair and fell in love. As the congregational seats are burgundy, I wanted seats that accentuated that color scheme. I read the reviews and saw the red/gold chair was more of a burgundy and took a chance. I purchased 2 to start, and I don't regret it. They arrived in good time for our first day in the building. I will say this: The review advice of laying out all bolts and washers first, is CORRECT. I put the chairs together in about an hour, because of it. I also used my own tools, which made navigation of the few tight spots easier for me. (Note: The directions are laid out by in a way that would irritate some people, so be aware of that). Everyone loves my chair choice. The chairs are neither duck down soft nor rock hard, but right at the mid point: comfortable and firm. So it works as the Church chair. I am going to add one more to the collection. The color is not a deep burgundy, but looking at the total picture of all of the seating…it works.

This is a great chair once you assemble it. Getting the chair put together is a challenge. One of the screws would not go in. Also the floor glides were missing in the 2 chairs that I purchased. The company did correct the mistake and they look great.

Purchased two chairs. Arrived via Fedex in excellent condition. The hardware kit on one was short one of the eight bolts needed to attach legs. The other was missing one washer. So a quick trip to the hardware store. Assembly was not too difficult but could have made much easier if the included hex wrenches were of the ball end type. Chairs are attractive and comfortable and seem to be a good choice at this price point.

Fabric and wood are well depicted in photos. Elegant looking and assembly was fairly easy. Well packaged. Note...nuts and bolts are in the zippered compartment of the seat.

The chairs are very nice and delivery was quick. We had them earlier than expected. The only reason I rated this a 4 instead of 5 was because of the difficulty our MAINTENANCE person had putting them together. He can assemble pretty much anything quickly. The screw holes under the seat were off, which made assembly a bit tricky. They did eventually come together and the chairs look beautiful. A person who is limited on their assembly ability or has little patience will not be happy.

I bought 2 red chairs. The red is lighter than in the picture, more a rust red than a true red. They were not easy to assemble. You really need a power drill to get the bolts in. Also, 2 washers were missing from the assembly packs of both chairs. Once assembled though, they are very comfortable and very nice looking. Very sturdy so far.

I bought 2 of these chairs about a month. They look nice, but 1 of the chair legs is a little shorter than the others. It is not too noticeable, we are going to put a couple felt pads on that leg.

VERY HARD to put together - took a couple hours and then in the end the holes did not match up - I had to get someone else to push on it while I tried to get the screw in. We had ordered two and did not even open the second one - took it back for our money.
